Funny and interesting to see the SBD as a fighter for a change. I'll be more carefull when attacking one next time.

Thanks for another great review

Edit:

And congrats on your milestone last week. :good::salute:

No problem - you have to watch out for some of those Bomber aircraft, they have the potential to take you by surprise as I have found!

Thank you, plenty more to come! :salute:

Review 152 is here - the N1K1 Kyofu:

N1K1 Kyofu - Rex The Ruthless

Next week I will be continuing the theme of the N1K with the N1K1-Ja Shiden Kai.

Until then, take care and good luck in the skies as always! ;)

I challenge you, Mr. Tx141, to fly the worst aircraft classified as a fighter - none other than the Ki-109!

Challenge accepted! I'll look to get a review together for sometime in June if that is okay (schedule for reviews is crazy right now)?

Still waiting...

... although I can't rule out the possibility that you tried but haven't scraped together enough footage to make a good vid - that thing is truly abysmal.

Thank you for taking your time to help the rest of the War Thunder community!

I really appreciate it!

No problem @NiccaMan. If you have any planes you would like me to review, please let me know and I will see what I can do.

@sidchicken I will be honest, my personal life has taken quite a dark turn over the last two months and so I have been trying to keep my spirits up through the reviews.

I delayed the Ki-109 simply because I anticipated it would cause me quite a lot of stress (if flying the Hs 129 is to act as a point of comparison).

Fortunately, I am coming out of this dark period, and can happily state that you can expect the Ki-109 review on Sunday 2nd September 2018; I am reviewing the Ki-108 next weekend to prepare myself.

All:

As per my response to @sidchicken above, life has really been getting me down recently, hence the minor delay in releasing this video and the lack of responses from myself to Youtube comments (etc.).

I'll get there, and will do my best to keep the reviews coming. With that, here's the N1K1-Ja:

N1K1-Ja - Violet Lightning

Next time out will be the Ki-108. Have a great week everyone! :salute:

Sorry to hear that.  Glad things seem to be turning back around for you.

That's smart thinking, and trust me - the Ki-109 is far worse than the Hs-129 B-3.  To be more specific, it faces a higher and therefore more unforgiving BR, while being much less maneuverable and a much larger target.  Suffice to say if you come up with some good ace-in-a-day footage, I will be duly impressed.

Well it's time for me to get to work!

In the meantime...

All:

The Kawasaki Ki-108, a Japanese Heavy Fighter that came too late to see service in reality, but can make quite the impact in the skies of War Thunder Arcade:

Ki-108 - Lethal Beauty

Next week: The Ki-109.

Until then, have a lovely week! :salute:

I'm sincerely impressed.  Good stuff.  The one positive thing I can say about my own experience spading that thing is that every kill had a visceral satisfaction to it.  I would have loved to see some of those long-range snipes you mentioned.  Didn't have much luck in that department myself, although I did manage to drop a 111 from about 1.6km while he flew nice and straight for me.

Thank you - I concur in that every single kill had a special (albeit hilarious) feeling to it.

Just think, I still have the P.108A serie 2 to do... ;)

Apologies folks, but there will be no review today.

Unfortunately my personal life has taken an increasingly dark turn in the last six months. Whilst I have been able to keep my spirits high and keep moving forward to date, I have been getting extremely close to burning out.

As a result, I have taken the decision to take a four week break from Youtube (i.e. until Sunday 21st October 2018) in order to give myself time to recover and release the stress that has been building up within me.

This also means I will be changing my upload schedule, aiming to put together a new review every two weeks rather than every single week. By doing this, I will be lowering my risk of experiencing burnout/a mental breakdown in the future.

If you want to know more, please consult the below video:

September 2018 Channel Update

I'll see you on the other side. I promise I am not done yet.

As always, take care and good luck in the skies! ;)

I will happily review the I-15 one day, it has been added to the list of planes up for review in the near future.

(Cannot promise there will be that many kills though!)

Update 21.10.2018:

I am back in the skies once more. As promised, this time out I take a look at the Tachikawa Ki-94-II:

Ki-94-II - Out of Touch

Thank you for your patience, and as stated in the video, you get to vote on which plane I do next. Please see my forum topic dedicated to this review to vote on whether I review the BF 109 G-2/trop or the Pe-3 Early in two weeks' time.

Polling closes at 1200 BST on Sunday 28th October 2018.

Have a great week folks! :)
