Tomogaso 217 Report post Posted May 16, 2014 I was curious, are the notches on the sight in simulation for where you have to aim in intervals of 100m? And how large are the map squares? 100m in lenght? Any tips for firing long distance (km+) in simulation mode? I find it hard to aim at all, and can't tell where my shell lands. The drop off is a bit peculiar, isn't it?
Rixx 474 Report post Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) I was curious, are the notches on the sight in simulation for where you have to aim in intervals of 100m? At the left side of your sight you can see notches with numbers. These numbers are "hundreds of meters". So, if you want to fire at 800m, you should use notch with 8 near it. Right now the interval between two vertical notches seems to be 400 meters. And how large are the map squares? 100m in lenght? I heard that it's 400 square meters, and it's seems like so. Any tips for firing long distance (km+) in simulation mode? I find it hard to aim at all, and can't tell where my shell lands. The drop off is a bit peculiar, isn't it? 1. Aprroximate distance using map an size of your target in your sight(ex: If you look at Panther from the side and it's two horizontal notches wide in your sight, then the distance is about 800-900 meters). 2. Fire. 3. If miss, adjust your sight and go to point 2. Edited May 16, 2014 by Rixx
