Need strategy for Ace reserve tanks

Didn't realize the forum would auto change N0UB to ACE.  So read N00B where ACE appears.

 

We need some workable strategy advice for Aces getting started with tanks. I've played around 20 or so matches and unlocked a couple new tanks but still don't see a reliably good approach to having a decent game.

Every game will be a little different based on map and match making but it seems often you can't get clear of the spawn point before your blasted.

 

Give your tips on what works or doesn't work with reserve/tier 1 tanks.

Map problems or strategies.

General Ace mistakes to avoid.

I'll start with a couple of observations on strategies witnessed in game.

 

ROAD RAGE STRATEGY  This seems to be popular, meaning you drive as fast as possible across the map shooting at anything red in front of you. I guess if your a rally car driver it can work but I have not really tried it.

 

CBT EXPERT CAMPER  This happens on some maps where the CBT pros know where the elevated positions are that dominate the battle field and your team can't get out of the spawn without getting one shoted by players you can't even target from your position.

 

A little advice for using you research unlocks. Unlock and know how to use your repair, fire extinguisher and artillery options.

Artillery can get you some kills you can't make with your tank gun. You can also use the artillery spotting function to gain an elevated view of the battle field and see over the top of obstructions.

 

And some what not to do.

DON'T follow a full speed right behind a guy you think knows where he's going and end up going over a cliff right behind him!  :crazy:

it's not a problem with the knowledge it's the way people play and the way they learn or better don't learn.

I am not sure if this answers helps you but try  to be smart if you want to win.
