Cheaters allready, or this game is broken?

Ok... Going to the point.

 

T-50's are impenetrable... I've just spent 20+ "gold" ammo on a T50 (Tier 1) with my Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) Ausf.F (Tier 2) at about 50 meters... NONE PENETRATED. I've tryed every spot on the tank including rear and the driver and gunner Windows... Nothing happened. At one point there was 2 of us firing at him, and he just killed us both.

 

T-28 Nuklear Ammo... Again, with my Pz.Kpfw. 38 (Tier 2), I got shot by T-28 (Tier 1) and it only took 2 shots to kill my 2 tanks... Allmost from the other side of the map with explosive ammo... REALLY??

 

Sooo... Is this game broken, or there are allready hackers/cheaters?

 

I go with the first... The game is broken, just because this hapened in allmost every games i played against T-50's and T.28's.

 

There are a lot more issues with this game... But these are the most outraged ones. It's just ridiculous.

 

Bottom line, i hope it's fixed, or it will end like the "WT Warplanes"... Wich i used to play, but dont enymore because of the "mouse players", and their plane physics that are just impossible.

There no hacks in War Thunder. Also having you both killed is just normal and sometimes you need to use the right ammo at specific distances because most of the cannons can penetrate it through closer distances while bad at long range.

 

EDIT: What gamemode are you playing in? Arcade , Realistic or Simulator battles?

Well First of all there is no "gold" ammo. Secondly Different mechanics from WOT and WOWP and play Arcade for tanks and look at the little plus sign if its Red than it most likely won't penetrate. if it is green its a good chance  it will penetrate. And Yellow its almost indefinitely will penitrate.

 

It takes some getting used to and yes there is some bugs here and there but there is no "cheaters" or "hackers" that i know of (This game is not as broken as the greed rotten game of WOT and the lag fest of WOWP)

Well can only agree - Groundforces (GF) beat the shit out of WOT.

I have been a very active WOT player for several years 19K+ battles and decent stats, but I dislike WOT because you can use several mods, so you gain an advantage over others. in GF you have no advantage, only skill to judge whether you'll bash the enemy or get bashed - + leachers bots etc. ruin the game.

 

in GF sometimes you end in the top of the three in the end, while others you end low. The graphics, the gameplay all in all GF beats WOT.

I think he means the APCR that are available even for BR 2 and lower. The T-50 is with no doubt a tough nut to crack for germans from tier 1 to 2.0 tier 2 tanks, especially if you don't know where to aim and how to aim. But even by stating the T-50 is hard to take down, it's not impossible. APCR and Hl.Gr 39 are the ammos kill it. Especially Hl.Gr 39 which, well aimed and shot, can OS every T-50 on your way.

Had a match with the F1 while grinding it the other day and killed 5 T-34s, 2 T-50s and 2 SU-76M.

Yes it happens. Ground forces glitches are combination of incomplete DMs and broken game in general. It's still in early open beta.

DUnno what he means by gold ammo, but I've had the same problem- german AP just doesn't penetrate... even rear armor. HEAT works great, but nothing else seems to. I tried everything- adjusting the angle of fire to compensate for slope, shooting directly down onto the engine compartment. Shooting the tracks, shooting the rear of the turret, the rear of the tank. Hell, it's easier to kill a T-34 than this so called 'light tank'. If this were a real combat scenario, the germans would have had to send mechanics with wrenches to get through the armor rather than AP shells on anything lower than Panzer III.

Just watch some youtube vids... That thing is impenetrable!

 

And in some vids you can even see T-50's ramming rocks at full speed with no damage wathsoever.

 

When i say "gold" ammo i mean the best ammo "credits" can buy. In the case mentioned in the 1st post, the PzGr 37 (t) and the PzGr 40/37 (t) where used.

 

And i don't play WoT... I play Simulation games, the ones i have are:

 

 

-DCS Warthog A-10C

-DCS UH-1H "Huey"

-DCS Black Shark

-IL2 Sturmovick 1946

-IL2 Sturmovick Cliffs of Dover

-Falcon BMS

 

I only have a few that are not "Sims" but yet much more complex that WarThunder.

 

-Arma 2

-Arma 3

-Supreme Commander - Forged Aliance Forever

 

This game really needs to improve in many things, not just the  "impenetrable tanks" issue.

 

Just a few problem's i've noticed:

 

-T-50's "Super Tank" as mentioned in the 1st post

-T-28's taking down T2 tanks with ONE shot at very long distances with the HE ammo

-Getting shot shot through rocks and terrain.

-Tank's getting stuck in small rocks and fallen trees

-Ammo penetration stats wrong or not working ( ex: 110mm penetration ammo can't penetrate 40mm armour even at point blank)

-Ridicoulous amout of time to repair

-Crew training not working ( Ex: My loader is trained at 40+ and the loading time is the same as if no training at all)

 

And much more...

 

For the people in the comments above who stated that are no problems with the game and i should learn to play "a demanding game"... Either they are enjoying the T-50's Rampage or they are game "fanboys"... In both cases you bring nothing good to the game as you are not helping it to get better.

T-28 gets a shrapnel ammo that is VERY deadly to low armor tanks like your pz 38t.  T-50 is bugged right now IIRC

In that case, the information provided by the game is wrong too... In ANY case can that ammo penetrate this armour, even more at long distances.

And if it cannot penetrate, it cant do any significant damage to the tank, maybe put some crew members inconcious, and that is it. It can NEVER explode a tank with one shot unless you hit direcly in some of the tank Windows.

T50 is bugged, simple as that.
T28 has HE and shrapnel shells as default. They cannot reliably do any damage to even the reserve PzII. That you were shot from afar (which shouldn't affect the damage too much since it's an explosive shell) was probably bad luck.

Is it mentioned somewhere T-50 is bugged and will be changed in an upcoming patch? T-50's definitively seem to be very hard to kill, feels like it is *much* tougher than T-34's.
