I just rode onto a wooden board on a control point...

And it killed my driver, radio operator and loader, and knocked out my transmission and damaged either the radiator or the engine, not sure.

What the arse is that??

They are the wooden planks that made up the floor of the capture point. They even have ramps...
Guess it's just buggy. Beta, after all.

on one of the maps, I have run into this, with what appears to be a wooden pallet on one of the caps that would IRL be easily crushed by a tank, instead blocking me and taking out tracks and driver when hit at high speed.

I love how you damage the tank pretty bad when you drive into a tree with a 15+ ton tank in a speed of around 30 km/h.

I contrast to everyone else in here, I have done it in RL with a soviet made APC that weight around 13 ton, and it didn´t do a jack s..it to the tank. I smashed right into the tree in around 25-30 km/h with my right "front wheel" dead on, besides a sudden stop and a tree falling down, nothing else happend. I dident even need to bring out the sledgehammer to fix anything. So would devs please fix the broken damagemodel.

And the streeing worked different then in this game in this APC, instead of braking 1 side when you turned you instead it shifted down 0.5 gear on the side you wanted to stear to. That meant that the gear instead of the speed+breakpower (Cuz in this game many tanks seems to have a hard time turn on the spot, maybe gets better on higher tiers?) decided how hard you could turn the damn armored whale. So if you missjugded the corner you went off the road =D

I think different gearing for each side wasn't on the early tanks.

Which is good I think, I mean think the turnradios on a panzer 3 with ninth gear =D
