T-44-122

Hello,

I think that T-44-122 (or T-44-100) would fit nicely between current (relatively "under-gunned") T-44 and T-54.

T-44-100

The second T-44-100 was created in early 1945, and rode the famous D-10T 100mm, used in the T-54/55. The tests were not successful. The recoil was too strong for the ring of the tower, ending deformed. The results were clear that it could not use the mounted D-10T 100mm.

The appearance of the T-54 in January 1945 was the final nail in the coffin of the T-44. This new tank was not so new, but the T-54 could mount the 100mm D-10T without any difficulty. It became clear that the T-54 tank was the future of the Soviet Army and the T-44 would be canceled.

It should not be added as it failed the field tests, this is why you have the T-54.

Hello,

I think that T-44-122 (or T-44-100) would fit nicely between current (relatively "under-gunned") T-44 and T-54.

T-44-122

Since the middle of 1944, it was already known that the 122-mm gun D-25 can surely affect any German tanks at any distance - it was a logical decision to try to install it on a T-44, especially as the size of the turret ring is initially selected by a large margin idea, it would seem adequate. Winter 1944-1945, a trial was filed version of the T-44-2, also known as T-44-122, caliber guns. Equips it specially designed for installation on a much more lightweight T-44 gun D-25-44T, which had some differences from the usual D-25. Thus, in particular, the problem is no quick-firing gun separate loading tried to resolve the transition to a unitary loading, reducing the size breech guns as possible facilitated gun. With an overall showiness ideas the result was not pretty. Charging in a small fighting compartment of a medium tank with a unitary 122mm shot and placed something with great difficulty, and about fast loading in one hand does not have to say, practical rate compared to the IS-2 has not changed, and under certain conditions even decreased . Also, places such "brevnyshek" in a small tank of 24 pieces, which was recognized quite inadequate for a medium tank
Therefore, despite the fact that the new machine has been very graceful - squat, with great dynamics and a powerful 122-mm gun, - in case she did not go, fully ripe by the time the T-54 is a much more reasonable compromise solution, with more protected and that the 100-mm gun is less powerful, but because it can be recharged at least in an acceptable pace, and ammunition which is obtained as a solid.

Again this tank should not be added due to the lack of space, storage, and inadequate load times made this prototype variant a failure.

I agree with idea of adding T-44-122.

It will increase the dynamic of gameplay which War Thunder currently lack (somehow).

Try look at "another game". It maybe too arcade for some people here but, we can't deny that it has a very good dynamic and many of playstyle.

I'm not try to make War Thunder be like "another game" (I myself don't like "another game" that much). But War Thunder currently have only 2 to 3 playstyles at most.

Just add the T-44-122 as it be in reality, no buff, no nerf, and adjust BR according to it.

Players will decide by themselves whether or not to play this tank.

Germans are Privelaged anyway in Tier IV and up...

If you honestly think that Tier IV Germany currently "struggles" in Ground Forces, then it's solely a L2P issue.

Both T-44-100 and T-44-122 would be nice and much needed additions to close the performance gap between the production model T-44 and the T-54.

I agree, we need a tank like this between T-44 (weak gun) and T-54. Unfortunately the Germans have nothing to deal with it, because this tank would be the same pain for the German tanks like the T-54 is (probally even more because of its in some cases better gun).

Unfortunately the Germans have nothing to deal with it,

Since the L/71 is working correctly and the T-44's damage model got fixed, Germans have enough firepower to deal with the T-44. Adding the /-100 and /-122 on the other hand would allow the T-44 to fight on equal ground.

Except the T-44-100 failed the field testing.

With regard to the Tiger II 10,5cm and Panther II being in the game, it's still a feasible addition.

yeah well, they should get removed..

Still, the T-44-122 looks awesome, I want it
