This aircraft has my support - it was used in Korea and could be a good end-of-the-line prop fighter for the Lavochkin line at rank 4.

I'm pretty sure this was just a la9 with increased with increased range so it had no performance advantage over the original la9

The La-11 had worse performance and less armament than the La-9 because the La-11 carried more fuel for more range. I suggest the best idea would be to put it in a folder with the La-9 and have the La-11 as an optional research plane that is less expensive than the La-9.

Yes I agree and if I can use a bad La and make things easier for the Bf-109s then sign me up

In this case I'm not sure if it should be moved to 'Implemented' or not just yet.  It's in the game, but nobody has it yet.

 

In any case I believe it SHOULD be a regular aircraft, either after the La-9 or in a tab with it.  Event vehicles should be primarily obscure, limited production, or prototypes, none of which would describe the La-11 (other than 'obscure' perhaps, depending on who you ask, as Soviet aircraft that aren't Cold War-era MiGs are generally not very well-known in Western countries, and stuff that didn't see service in World War II like the La-11 tend to be even MORE obscure in the West).

that. People won't use it as it would have minimum fuel of 1hr or so. Just take La-9 with full fuel and you'll get La-11

Or for EC/WW Mode, La-9 could have 4-hours worth and the La-11 being 7-hours max.

 

Also unlike the drop-down list right now, I'd like to see fueload* regulation via slider bar (like ammo).

 

 

*addition of fuel & home-base gameplay mechanics would be great as well
