Registering Gaijin Account Bound To Your PSN Account

By registering a Gaijin account with an email address you open up the following features:

• The possibility to play on PC with your PSN account and purchase Golden Eagles in Gaijin Store.
• The access to our technical support.
• The possibility of authorization in forum, live and wiki.

 

To register a Gaijin account and bind an email address to your PSN account please follow these steps:
  

1. Launch War Thunder on your PlayStation console.
2. Once War Thunder is fully loaded you will be at the hangar. C lick on your “Profile” button (the one with your nickname, portrait and level) where you may continue the process.
3. In your profile please click the “E-mail bind” button which is positioned at the bottom left of the screen. Note: If you cannot see this button it means you already have a bound email address. You can request password reset at Gaijin.net if you don't remember it. If you don't remember what email it was, contact tech support
4. You will be taken to a web page where you may enter the email address you wish to use to register your Gaijin account and bind it to your PSN account. This can be any email address you have access to as long as it wasn't used for registration in PC version before. Please enter a valid email address and click the “Bind” button. You will now be returned to your previous in game screen .
5. An email has been sent to the email address you entered. This email confirms you have successfully registered a Gaijin account with the email address you entered and linked it to your PSN account. This email also provides you with a randomly generated password. You may change it using the link provided in email. 
6. Congratulations! You can now use your email and password to login to forum, support website etc. You may also use them to login on your computer depending on your preferred operating system to the Linux, Mac and PC versions of War Thunder.

Note: You can purchase Golden Eagles in Gaijin Store, and they will be available when you login into console version as well. However, you can only purchase premium vehicle packs in PlayStation Store. For the purchase to be applied to your account and be available in the PC version you have to login to your War Thunder account on the console first.

Pr emium Account included in the PlayStation Store packs is not transferred to the PC version, only the vehicles.  However, Premium account purchased in the game and other purchases made with Golden Eagles in the PlayStation version are transferred to the PC version and vice versa.

I need a way to do this without my ps4 I had to sell it to pay for bills and I had spent at least 500 dollars and over 2000 hours of playtime and I had to just lose all of that when I registered on my PC and yes I did cry because I love this game and lost all my sabers and my German MiG and my tier 4 US and Russian tanks....If the Devs can make it possible for me to get my ps4 stuff without having a PS4 I will love them forever........Please Send Help!

As you have been a member since 12 Jan 2014 you will already have entered an email address when you first fired up War Thunder on your PS4 and will already have the bind to the Gaijin account with that email address.

 

As per item 4 in the guide. - Note: If you cannot see this button you already have a bound email address.

 

Please contact support https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us quoting your Playstation Network ID that you use to play War Thunder and explain your issue to them. They may retrieve your email address for you providing you can prove your credentials. There are security issues involved as many members spend a lot of money on their accounts and Gaijin do not take the security of accounts lightly. It is a members responsibility to remember and keep secure their account details.

 

Forum staff have no access to members email and email bind details. You must contact support to resolve your issue.

At present you can't. PC accounts cannot be played on PS4 at this time.

Maybe if Sony changes its policy on account transfers. Right now Sony does not allow it. Gaijin has zero control over this policy.

No. You cannot play a PC account on PS4. You can only play a PS4 account on PC.

i have just recently wanted to cross over my progress from ps4 to pc

and ive looked for tyhe link email thing and i can't find it and i havent linked it before

If you first started playing War Thunder on PS4 before manual binding system was introduced your PSN War Thunder account will already have been bound to Gaijin.net.

 

As per right at the top of my OP in the guide: Note: This applies to new accounts only. Existing accounts are already Gaijin registered and bound using the email address and password you entered during the registration process when you first installed War Thunder on your PS4..

 

Just download the War Thunder client to your PC and insert the exact same credentials you use to login to the forums into the War Thunder PC launcher when you start the game.

 

You must use the credentials that log you into the forum under your PSN nickname. If your nickname on the forums is not the same as your PSN nickname then those are the wrong credentials to enter into the PC war Thunder launcher..

 

Eg. If your current forum nickname THEKILLER is not your PSN nickname then that's the wrong credentials to play your PS4 account on PC. If THEKILLER is your PSN nickname then use the credentials you use to login to the forum under THEKILLER in the PC War Thunder launcher.

 

If you do not know what your PSN forum credentials are you will have to open a support ticket here https://support.gaijin.net/hc/en-us to get all your details. Forum staff do not have access to your account details for security reasons. only support have access to your account details.

Hello. I have a problem. I went to link my ps4 account with a email. So i did all the steps to link my email that i could do. And as soon as i finished putting my email down on the page i pressed enter. The page closed and went back to the game. senses that i have not gotten a email by war thunder that i have linked my email to my ps4 account so i dont known my given password. So i went to the war thunder page and went to reset my passworld to my email i used to link my ps4 account. All i got was a USER ID NOT FOUND. And also i dont have a email binding bouttin on my ps4 account any more. So i guess that i have no way of linking my email to my ps4 account. And sucks because i cant link my ps4 account to my PC game.      

 

note: The account/email that i used to send this on is not the same as the email i used to link my account on ps4

Please also check your spam folder for the email account you used.

You don't have the same problem. What Edward did was linking his PS4 to wrong email or something like this. 

 

You, on the other hand, already have a working linked account, but want to make purchases without PS4 which is not possible.

in the last couple of days I have done a lot of research about the question "Can you bind your WarThunder PC Account to your PS4 Account?".

It was allways the same answer, no! The official reason was/is that Sony doesn't want it.

The posts to this topic are a little bit older, therefore I have a few questions:

 

1. Is it still not possible to bind your WarThunder PC account to your PS4 account, or has anything changed?

 

2. (if not) Are there still proceedings to change that and what is the current status?

 

3. (if not) what is the official reason from Sony to denie PC Players the entrance to the PS4 account when it's working the other way around?

2. Unknown if there are or have ever been any negotiations. Only Gaijin admin or Sony could answer that and due to corporate NDA's I can't see that happening.

 

3. Unknown. You would have to ask Sony, but again, due to corporate NDA's I don't fancy your chances of getting an answer.

wat should happen when u bind ur account? after doing it, there still the option to do it like I didn't

The bind button should disappear and your forum nickname should be the same as your PSN ID but with a * prefix.

 

You should also be able to login and play the game on PC with the details you used during the bind process.

Thank you but i found where i can write a ticket to gaijin and a few min later i became a answer.

There was a mistake in my email adress for my ps4 account like gromvoiny say i type a letter too mucch ^^

Help in ReBinding

Created an account for my 1st son in PS4 and worked with binding with his psn. I wanted to bind it with my account on pc that is more upgraded, so I unbound my son's account but did not work. I tried to run WT son's account PS4 but it kept on saying lack of internet connection.

I logged in using his psn email at WT site then unbound/unbind,. still did not work-"lack of internet connection" why when other accounts on same ps4 can log in to wt? so i tried removing account from wt site. still same same.

What to do to get my son's account to play again in PS4?

You can only bind PS4 account to email NOT registered in PC version yet. And you can't "unbound" them, I'm pretty confused on what you did exactly. Please contact support.
