Sorry, but I just don't think the E series tanks in general have a place in this game. WOT could do it because that's what they do, they add paper tanks because thats what they do. But in war thunder, it's not as much like that. War thunder adds these kinds of things if a terrible balancing issue is happening and nothing is going to solve this problem, like the R2y2 for the japs, which was really needed.

But they won't add it because they have a better idea to solve this for top tier heavy tank, as stated by bvv on the Russian forum. Edited June 17, 2015 by quicequance

Could we please at least agree that only tanks that were designed by germany during WWII should even be considered to be included? paper, proto, production aside, should we really be considering fantasys of the 1990 - WoT age.

In the fact of paper tanks, I really REALLY couldn't care less what they add, I JUST WANT A FUN GAME, i really would love paper aircraft and tanks in this game because it adds diversity, it adds to the FUN of the dang game. I really hate that the game is so hindered by the way *things gotta be historically real* just, i play this game for fun, not for a history lesson.

That particular example is a well known fake, it was created by a modeller afaik. Only 2 turret types were designed for the E-100, the Porsche and the Krupp.

 

I'm not sure if the E-100 could really balance out the high tier Germans, It would suffer much the same fate as the Maus, if only faring a little better.
