How to install Custom Missions?

Hey, how do I install custom missions downloaded by (http://live.warthunder.com/feed/missions/)?

I tried downloading it [the folder with the blk., etc. files inside] to my War Thunder/UserMissions folder, but I can't find most of the missions in game, and the ones I do when I try playing the game just doesn't start, all I see is a floating cam and I'm forced to close the game through the task manager.

I'm not sure if I didn't look right, but I couldn't find help or a tutorial anywhere teaching how to install those custom missions.

1.) Download the mission and extract the file.

2.) Take only the .blk" and .csv (.csv is not "a must") files from the rar you've downloaded.

3.) Put only these 2 files inside the Usermissions folder.

4.) Open the game and go to: Main menu> User mission, here you will notice there's several tabs like: "Eastern front", pacific front, User Missions... . Some missions will not be on the tab called "User mission", but on the tab Eastearn front or maybe on the Pacific front.

5.) Make sure to have unlocked the plane you need to use in the mission, like if the mission is meant to be played with the CL-13, you need the CL to fly on the mission or you will not be able to play.

********IMPORTANT*******

If you already have war thunder installed in steam or if you have it installed from the war thunder website don't reinstall from the other, also I understand that to most people this would be obvious but i'm just putting this in for others.

1. do you use steam

if you use steam follow 1-3.a. for easier instructions.

if not 1-3.b.

1.a. go to steam library

1.b go to your C: drive, (or whatever your Windows drive is)

2.a. right click war thunder, select properties.

2.b. look for war thunder folder and open.

3.a. go to local files tab, click brows local files.

3.b. then  | |   and that is all 4.a. same |  |

                \ /                                          \ /

1.) Download the mission and extract the file.

2.) Take only the .blk" and .csv (.csv is not "a must") files from the rar you've downloaded.

3.) Put only these 2 files inside the Usermissions folder.

4.) Open the game and go to: Main menu> User mission, here you will notice there's several tabs like: "Eastern front", pacific front, User Missions... . Some missions will not be on the tab called "User mission", but on the tab Eastearn front or maybe on the Pacific front.

Okay, so I tried to download the J-29 "Tunnan" mission, I put the blk. in the "UserMissions" folder and everything like that, but, when I'm going to play it it says something like "blk. dumped, could not create flight model". So my question is; why the h*ck is this happening?

That means it wasn't installed right. However even if it was I probably wouldn't work because 1.63 changed the way some stuff works and broke all the user made planes

It's fine. If it's single blk files it updates with the client open. But if you install missions that have a folder/csv files then you need to restart the client to see those missions.

Is the file defiantly in War Thunder\UserMissions ?

Also what mission was it you were trying to use, is it a multiplayer mission?

Single User mission "capture the dam.blk" which I placed in User Missions folder. Not multiplayer.

It says it is a PvP mission. What does it mean?

If you are on windows download the rar opener(From store),and then copy the folder into the User missions folder(Copy the whole thing just in case)

On Mac idk.

What happens if i leave the client open while i install missions.

After you copied the user mission into the UserMission folder while leaving the cilent open the user mission board(The place where it shows user mission) it won't change, but there is a refresh button.

After you refresh, you will see the mission(s) that you pasted into the UserMission folder.

I can't seem to find the "Usermission" folder. Anyone know where or how I can get to it?

:dntknw:

Download the CDK,and listen to the Tutorial, get your mission and you will see the 'UserMissions' folder.
