Well, it was on Karelia, I was on top of a hill sniping people and got like 9 kills. Then the enemy decided to get close to a cap point closest to our spawn so I went over there and killed 2 people (a tiger and I think an aa). While re-capping the point, an enemy T-34-85 comes over, I had my rear facing him and he shot me. Miraculously I survived (especially since hull break was still a mechanic back then), I quickly drove behind cover and waited. For some reason he charged me and got killed. He was the last guy on their team and we won because they were out of vehicles

Doesn't matter the map (though a small one with lots of nooks and crannies like Karelia is a good one)... in an M56 you could easily be strafed by planes, guns, you're as fragile as they come if they arty your position.  Cheers! 

 

PS - Karelia is yet another example of a map designed for low tier tanks which they've ruined by making plenty of good locations out of bounds (all of which can be countered by a smart player paying attention; and none of which prevents people from STILL quickly getting to positions where they can hit tanks leaving their spawns / in their spawns) in some sort of misguided attempt to make suitable for higher tier tanks.   IMO, they merely succeeded in making the map less interesting and battles less diverse by channeling play through fewer avenues.

The best match for me in recent memory was a couple of days ago  - 14 kills in a Tiger 2 with no death, in quite an uptier too (kills included T-54s, Magachs & M48s), in the  Port Novorossiysk map (i.e. lots of CQB).
