It's unknown, most of the sources I found don't mention whether it has or hasn't got a Afterburner or not.

There's no reason that this couldn't be added, as it's basically, for all intents and purposes, just a bigger F-86, plus the fact that it's the only mass-produced candidate Italy has for an end-game fighter that's indigenous to Italy, the other option being imported variants of the F-86.

The plane overwhelms the current top tier, and would overwhelm potential powercreeps such as the MiG-17A and F-86H.  This plane hasn't a prayer of being added whatsoever.

First flight was too late for cut-off date. Not 3 years late like the G.91 but 13 years late. Too much

Here's why:

 

-It's 13 years out of the timeline, and that was it's first flight.

 

-It's better than the MiG-17F WITH the afterburner.

 

-DEFA cannons? Really? The DEFA 552 used on the G.91Y was introduced after the F-86 Sabre.

 

-Aircraft technology progresses way faster than AFV technology, so this thing is a big jump compared to something like the F-80 to the F-86.

 

-Italy doesn't have any indigenous fighter jets that fit the timeline too well. This is no exception.

 

-It's climb speed and climbrate make it a literal skyrocket compared to the other aircraft in the game.

 

 

 

If there was a -1 button, I'd have a valid reason. Not that I have anything against you, just... this.

Sorry to tell you, but it still has a chance due to balancing, yes it would be nerfed artificially, certainly wouldn't be the first plane, so it has a chance.

The normal G91 is ok. Even the guys of the italian tech tree project thinked at the Y for a moment. Too advanced, and jet aren't a problem, native and land lase

I prefer to stare away from Copy and Paste as much as possible where it's not necessary.

Too bad.  What you call "copy paste" aircraft (which in reality are entirely legitimate aircraft that were actually used operationally by their air force) are necessities for most of the Italian T5 tree.

Not really, it's just a lazy way of filling a tech tree, like filling a pothole with poly filler, it doesn't work.

Not really, it's just a lazy way of filling a tech tree, like filling a pothole with poly filler, it doesn't work.

And what you want to do is fill the pothole with an active grenade.  That won't work for so many reasons it doesn't even need explaining.

Japanese aircraft are not intentionally artificially nerfed.  The I-16 is not artificially buffed.  This plane will not be artificially nerfed.  This plane will not be added to artificially nerfed.  The sooner you accept this, the sooner you can be at peace.

Japanese planes have been artificially nerfed, because of the artificial buff due to the US Planes screwed up BR, the I-16 performs worse in real life then in game, so yes, the G.91Y has a chance to be in game with it being artificially nerfed.
