Talking about the E-100, isn't it getting a remodel of the gun and the muzzle break is being removed?

Currently it has the model of the 15 cm KwK 44 L/38, but it should get the model of the 12.8 cm KwK 44 L/55 whenever they change it..

Well ya can't vote twice! But, if you can find, or calculate us some pen tables with a proper formula, then we'll most definitely get this. There's really no reason not to add it if we have all the data.

By the way, if anyone DOES calculate this, I'd like to ask that the math be written down in a post, which will be added to the original post so everyone can see and no excuse such as "you increased/decreassed the values for personal gain" can be made.

yeah, I'd do it myself but the problem with formulas is knowing and understanding just what is used for what value. XD But yeah, if someone does they should post all the math.

Yes please. It would only be fair since german tanks are facing things with absurd ammunition.

AS much sense as that makes, you have to realise that it WOULD have had this ammo, and it's even real so it isn't a fantasy, just look at the photograph re-listed in the first post. The maus would have used this ammo had the war went on and on, so it was neither only in plan form, nor was it not intended to exist, we have the maus, but the tank itself was only cancelled because of a lack of resources. This means that there is really no reason it should not have been included.

Hey..not against it per se....just bemoaning that they completely ditched historical accuracy in vehicle stats all around. Another year and the game will be indistinguishable from WoT.

Not to get off topic, but IMO the best thing about this game isn't really the ammo, or THAT accuracy. The game broadens into giving us lots of things, including the soon-to-be wheeled vehicles, long combat missions like EC, and even models of individual soldiers. In a couple of years the game will no doubt become amazing, the reason why I prefer this game is because nobody's god damn INVISIBLE and I can actually HIT THINGS. and tactics are a result of outsmarting your enemies, something I am great at, that, and being very observant. I even tried AW, but i don't think I'd return even after spending on the cheapest founder pack, simply because of that same system. Not only that, but War thunder is slowly expanding, going further into the future in little jumps, now we're in the 60's, with all sorts of vehicles to be implemented, not just tanks or tracked vehicles.

 

And that is why I've got to say APDS would be fine, that, and it would have been historically accurate. You can see it clearly existed, just not in any great number at the time.

Well as I said...nothing against it per se and I voted yes, still.....I actually have no problem with the 128mm gun, most reliable german gun at T5.

 

The gun I have problems with and which needs any help it can get is the 105mm L7 imho. If only that thing would also shoot APHE.....

I support this since the IS-2's and other WWII tanks get post-war ammunition, why not add experimental ammunition to at least give some sort of fighting chance to the Germans.

Well thats annoying. While the Maus & E-100 have great armor, anything with 200+mm of penetration can put it out of action, FROM THE FRONT! Thats tanks starting at tier 3 that can kill a Maus or E-100 frontally... And the germans dont get any better shells? -.-

well, a 95/5 vote. I think the results here are pretty clear. AS for calculating armor penetration, does anyone know a formula that would work specifically well for this type of thing? I'll do it myself if I have to.

.... actually now that you mention it yes, I do happen to know ONE person.... Didn't think to ask because he's not typically a ballistics teacher! But, it isn't impossible.
