Pe-8 bomber-somthing is not right abouth 5000 kg bomb

Well,i play alot this weekend Endurin event with RUS,and normaly with Pe-8,unlocking mod..I unlock 5000 kg bomb.Then i try to compare how much demage is doing 4 x 1000 kg bombs and 1 x 5000 kg bomb on bombing airfield.When i always drop 4 x 1000 kg all 4 on direct hit it was always 2/3 of af destroyed,maybe few times even a little more,but when i drop 1x 5000 kg on same spot,it was almoust less demage then with 4 x 1000kg.When i drop 1x 5000kg bomb on af,it hits exactly perfect centre runway,beautifol crater  :Ds ,an then it says that i only drop 3,7 tone,and not 5 tone.If this is not a bug,or some mistake in game,then this bomb is pointles.With 6 x 1000 kg you can kill af alone,in that case 5000 kg is also enaf for doing that,because biger bombs do more demage,and you get alot more sl and rp like with all bombs.

 

So somone need to check tis ting ,i mean is silly to have this bomb on plane,you only slower and doing less demage like with 4 x 1000 kg.

I can get filler data assuming we are comparing the FAB-1000 to the FAB-5000 and not the FAB-5000NG which was a super heavy concrete version with more explosive power than the original FAB-5000. Edited by Kazumi_

Maybe you right.but also 1x 1000kg dont have all 1000 kg exsplosiv weight.its all together bomb and exsplosive all together maiking weight.But anyway its no point of this bomb if its not making more demage then 4 x 1000,its realy useles.Only thing maybe is good for kiling more then one ground unit in some area where all ground units traveling together,but except that is completly useles in comparison to 4 x 1000 kg.

I want to say the FAB-1000 follows the same ratio of 50:32 for nominal weight to filler or perhaps a ratio of 5:3 making the in-game FAB-1000 have only 640kg (50:32 ratio) or 600kg (5:3 ratio) of explosive filler.

And the damage does not make sense. I got 2400kg of explosives for 4 FAB-1000s with the 5:3 Weight-Filler ratio, and 2,560kg of explosives for the 50:32 weight-filler ratio, for 4 FAB-1000s

im going to try different ratios until I get one reasonable FAB-1000 Weight-Filler ratio.

 

5:4 x4: 3,200kg of explosives

(800kg of explosive per FAB-1000)

 

6:5 x4: 3,336kg of explosives

(834kg of explosive per FAB-1000)

with the 5,000 pounds of bombs are you hitting dead center on the airfield or dropping the bombs right on top of the red circle? and I don't think it only takes 6,000 pounds of bombs to take out an airfield its more like 10,000 - 12,000 pounds of bombs last time I did the experiment. and I'm not trying to act like I know everything.

5000 KG = 11,000lb

Well, that might make sense in this isolated incident, right... But otherwise, it's not. When you have the Yer-2 M-105, the first one you get and the one before the Pe-8, it has a 4000kg bomb load. This consists of 2x1000kg bombs and 4x500kg bombs. However, you cannot one-shot a base if it's the highest bomb load in the game, as the airbase and bases HP is based off of the max bomb load possible. That being said, with the 4x1000kg bombs in the PE-8, assuming it has the biggest bombload, you can. Both 4 metric tonnes of bombs, yet one destroys the base and the other doesn't. What I seem to find is the more compact the bomb load is, and this I have only found in ARCADE, the more effective they are. In Simulator and Realistic, according to my limited testing in those modes, I do the same damage with a 1000kg bomb as I do 4x250kg bombs.
