MISSING PLAY BUTTON!

When I start up the launcher for WT everything seems to work just fine, no problem. BUT, the big red play button is gone. I don't mean its gray or it wont work, I mean its not there. I seem to remember that there used to be a red loading bar at the bottom with the play button grayed out until it fills. But with my launcher, the red bar will fill up, turn gray, and no play button! Just trying to figure out if there is anything someone can help me do to fix this problem. BTW I am on an Alien ware PC with windows 10, if that helps narrow it down at all.​

First thing I would try is fire up the launcher. Click on the wrench icon in the upper right corner, then CHECK FILES. This will up date and damaged or missing files.

I've tried that several times and it doesn't do anything. I've tried running the game through aces.exe and the game works but it doesn't fix the missing button problem.

you could try to (manually) update the launcher itself - maybe there is something wrong with the launcher files themselves.

while running the installer you just need to make sure that the destination folder / installation path is set to your current game

folder so the installer is overwriting the existing files (otherwise the launcher may be installed into the wrong directory (default

path) and upon running it will download the game from scratch ^^)

 

if this isn't doing the trick it may be related to your screen resolution or the windows scaling... the launcher may not be

displayed correctly when either the screen resolution is very low (1024*768 or less) or the windows scaling (text and icons)

is too high - this especially applies to Win8 and Win10
