The matter is not where you posted it, the matter is the plane itself due to its poor armament and its designated role as a scout plane they believe it shouldnt be in the regular tree due to the fact it doesnt fit in the game with its role since its primary role was to scout for GT which we can already see over man kilometres away. They prefer the other "Uhu" the HE-219 nightfighter with up to 6 MG 151. The 219 would have firepower and would be more usefull than a scout plane which doesnt climb and has a very bad armament. Still i´d like to see both variants in the normal techtree as i´m fed up with all those events with those boxes with the "get the boxes 100 times and in the last one you get the 100% chance to win it before you get just useless stuff". We could talk about the topic if it would be the 189 A4 (never build sadly) with 2 20mm guns in the front and 2 MG 81z in the back. But it is not like germany is missing good low level ground attack or fighters. Bombers that are able to fly ground attack germany is the second best behind the SU I would say (2x Do17, 2x Ju87, 2x Ju88) And even if the 189 would be a great turner, it is neither a capable fighter nore a good bomber (4x 50kg). Maybe we could talk about the A2, but I don't know where it would fit because on low BR it would be a very strong gunship with 2x MG81z in the back and on higher BRs it couldn't do anything because it still is slow and has just a few small bombs. The 189A1 is like the Po2 - well, i would say it is even worse then the Po2, because the Po2 gets a ok bombload at last. I'm just wondering why the OS2U is in the tree, it should be a special too, because it has the same roll and it is the worst of the 3 :Ds The people that write here to you are more resonable then you often see in the main forum. Maybe because you are in a subforum of the german subforum. What a shame, the model of the FW 189 looks nice. Look in this topic, please.
