The Quick "Question and Answer/Advice" Thread

Didn't work

Okay

1 vs more is hard anyway. I don't recall winning 1 vs 2 unless versus potatoes.

So either that or L2P issue (for the rest of your team leaving you 1 vs more)

About Otto tip, just hold 845 kmh TAS with Sabre. The mismatch with holding 845TAS and following Subryan IAS speed is negligible

It was 1vs1 F30 vs -17

Situations are different

Explain how you would deal with each

That would lead to a ton of text and I'm lazy.

Normal combat situation is MiGs above Allies, so one should either try to bait them into a rolling scissors (something you don't do in the beggining of a match), or pull some turns at 900+ kph, pulling 5-6Gs to dodge them, here the objective is to frustate the enemy primarily, because attempting an attack from a bad position is a bad idea, and wait for him to commit and overshoot, or team assistance.

A MiG below 2-3Km altitude is a dead one if there's a Sabre cruising at full tilt in the area, so hunt those fiercely.

Anyways, teamwork is the most important tip I can give you, with a big emphasis on speed.

I know very few people that own it and let alone would want to fly it.

Another question, lock up on later Yak, when does it kick in

Which later Yak? Are you refering to wing rip?

A quick question regarding the turret on Panzer IIIs: Are they really that slow in rotating? I just took my Pz.III E out on Stalingrad and the turret was so slow I had to shift the tank a bit to get firing line on what seemed to be either a M2 or M3 tank.

No as in what speed the planes become less agile and hard to maneuver

Post Pz3J1 they get electrical drives

Exactly what PolarBear said. The early Pz.IIIs did not had electrical turret rotation mechanisms, the crew had to rotate the turret by hand. From the J1 they got electrical turret drives which increases the rotation speed.

They have a fair controlability up to ripping speed. Test for yourself, see if you like their handling and adjust your playstyle accordingly.

I think the whole point is to kill the Mig with scissors before you reach that extent

At what speeds and distance

The closer the better, you can get up to 0.6 km firing, it usually is a very limited window of oppurtunity.
