Chugganaut 20 Report post Posted February 25, 2016 (edited) Hey everyone! Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, I think I got it right though. :P So basically, when I am playing ground forces, I press shift to look down my sights. Everything is fine. But when I press right click to zoom in my sights, the camera/sight/barrel seems to jump 90 degrees to the side. This happens every game, at least 8/10 times I zoom in. I know it's not the case of the barrel being stuck on something or whatever, because it even happens when I am in open ground. Does anyone know what this might be? It's super frustrating. Thanks! :D Edit: I forgot I had made another topic like this but I couldn't find it. In it people asked me what my average ping was (which is around 80) and someone said it was possibly due to the fact that RMB is the default for track target. But I looked in my controls and RMB is not the default for track. As far as I can tell RMB is only defaulted to zoom. relliK 3,228 Report post Posted March 11, 2016 do you have (or ever had) TrackIR or FaceTrackNoIR installed on your system ? one thing you could try is to delete the ..\cache\ folder within the War Thunder game directory. in the past there has been a problem with the sight getting inverted by 180° and this problem could be solved by deleting the cache. Chugganaut 20 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 I've never had any kind of tracking installed. Should I still try to delete that folder?
relliK 3,228 Report post Posted March 13, 2016 I've never had any kind of tracking installed. Should I still try to delete that folder? sure can do... it will be automatically recreated by the game anyway... some loading times may be a little bit longer after deleting that folder but once the content is cached again everything should be back to normal (hopefully without the problem your experienced though ^^)
