Josephs_Piano 7,044 Report post Posted March 4, 2016 A shout to a website i've been browsing for a couple of years - it started as the Spitfire Performance page, but as more and more types and info got added they changed it to the WWII Aircraft Performance page. It is chock full of period assessments of aircraft, including a few head-to-head comparisons between spits and Me-109's, and between various RAF types in late was service here A few more sub-page links: FW-190 dive test (in translation) ME-109G tests (in translation) 100/150 grade fuel Performance data on fighters - (P-38J, P-47, P-51B and P-80A climb, dive, turn and roll) And many, many more......
Silavite 1,218 Report post Posted March 4, 2016 Can second this, really great website! (I've had it in my bookmarks for years). Two other websites I can recommend are Kurfurst for Bf 109 info, and Rod's Warbirds for finding pictures of elusive aircraft. (Only for Germany, Italy, Japan, and a few of the Soviets though. No British or US pictures, sadly.) J7W

Ki-83

Among others...
