Golden Eagles: How to utilize?

So im planning to get another 25$ visa and with that, I could probably get 5000 GE. I need your guys help. I always wanted a jet but the grind is too much. I know you can use golden eagles to speed things up but im not sure how to use them.

 

Right now, im looking forward to grind torwards an American jet (either the F80 or the Banshee at least but I really want to grind down the sabre line). I have tailsman my cannoncat (F8F1-B) and 25,000 RP away from the Tigercat. However, on the other side of the American fighter tech tree, I still need to unlock the P38(rank IV), P51D, and the f-82. I tailsman my bearcat but the problem is, I always lose money, either RB or AB (cause of the cost) and it is frickin hard to fully mod it. Should i go for a prenium account, or a prenium rank 3-4 plane, or both? I just need a way to get more money. RP is not a problem but I always lose money in games (my current balance is like 152K lol). Thanks in advance!

Even though I have not used it in air RB in a while, the P-51D-20 NA was a great buy for me. I was able to start my clan, and get my first jet, the F-80C, back when it costed 400K RP and before they added the P-80A in just two weeks. When I researched my B-57A, it only took me 5 days to get. The D-10 might be good too although I never bought that one. IMO, from experience, I recommend buying the D-20NA. :good:

P-47M is better in almost every way to P-51D-10.

Personally since you mainly play AB I would:

 

Do your RP grind with the F8F-1B it should be a strong grinder and will let you put the talisman to use, it will also prepare you for early jet matches as you will see some of them and also be familiar with other top props.

For earning SL, play tier t2-3 in any role you like and activate wagers that are appropriate for your lineup. I earned the full 250k SL from a wager (battle victory) spamming p47s in the A-26 event, if I had enough time I would have the A-26 and more than a million SL. So I would save your GE for later.

 

If you insist you need a premium to earn SL, gaijin has their economy working well; the XP-38 is probably the easier SL earner along with the US A6M2. The tier 3 prems are actually all pretty nice too, so if you like ground attack the BTD would be nice, the 109F4 is super strong all around whilst the XP-50 is a climbing beast (with a weak DM).

Tier IV prems will help your RP more than your SL, as the games at that point are harder, but the LF IX has always been strong and the P47M is a high alt god although in AB they never seem to climb.

Small question. So if I use wagers to earn SL, how do I use them exactly? (sorry but I do not know exactly what wagers do though, i have a lot I have not used)

Click on the wagers tab

Have a look and see which one you want to try to do. Lots of them are much easier in a squad (victory, best squad, wingman) but some you can do on your own with the right lineup (the ones relating to killing a number of units or even battle victory if you are willing to p47 rush GT).

If you get to level 1 of a wager you break even. So bet max which is 10K SL. You have 3 shots to get break even, once you break even it's profit :)

 

Oh and choose your wager before the battle starts, and pick an appropriate lineup for what you are trying to achieve. If you want help winning the 'team' style wagers join the "make a squad" chat room and ask in there. Most people find people to play with, and if you get a squad who attack GT you are almost guaranteed to win the victory wager, if you are all in fighters you are almost guaranteed to win the 'best squad' wager, just stay near each other.
