Quetzalkoatl 136 Report post Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) New thermodynamics introduced to WT in 1.55 is broken for jets.... Jets overheats too fast... You can't fly with max speed all time... that's really bad especially for planes what don't turn good... When your engine goes red you have to decrease throttle to <90% to cool down engine... and yeah... engine is cooler... but even if you will wait 10 mins with 90% throttle and then set throttle to 100% engine starts overheat again... and much easier than before... Next problem is that altitude doesn't change anything in overheating... Everybody knows that when you goes higher, temp out side will decrease... but engine will still overheat... That overheating is really annoying... Previous thermodynamics system was much better for jets than current one... I can't believe that korean jets were overheating in real life like it is in game... For e.g. MiG-15s had to take off and go climb to high altitude and intercept bombers... they had to fly with max throttle and with max speed at high altitude... if engine were overheating like it is in WT, MiGs would be useless against other planes... Same sabres... it's true that Sabre pilots were flying with 50-70% throttle.. but not for save engine... they had to save fuel... after that, when they met MiGs, they started dogfighting... with full throtte.... Sometimes they were fighting more than 15 mins... in WT after 15 mins you have to go to base because your engine temp. is red... I hope that Gaijin fix it... please.... it's horrible!
