Attention!

Due to violation of the rule of the Pro Division number 45, point 14, by the ruling of the Organizational Committee of the Thunder League, the Pro Division team [_GOF_] Ukraine has been disqualified.

The slot in the Pro Division is transferred to the team =POPE= Poland who has taken the 3rd place in the first season of the Semi Pro Division.

The slot in the Semi Pro Division that is freed by =POPE= will be filled by one of the Novice Division in the following way:

 

April 2nd:

Match #1:

=PVVD= Monsters (5th place) vs [JAngO] (6th place)

Start at 18:00 GMT

 

April 3rd:

Match #2:

Winner of the Match #1 vs -P4F- Russia (3rd place)

Start at 18:00 GMT

 

The winner of Match #2 will enter the Semi Pro Division.

Wow... very interesting but glad to see that this was taken care of without any denial of unfair advantage mods in the game. I don't think alot of people use them but maybe I'm wrong. Shame those players had to do that. I could only imagine if they had won the tournament. Keep up the good work.

I guess this illegal software enables markers in normal RB matches.

But this software is useless in the thunder league anyway. So their position was reached without any "hacks".

 

It may sounds a little bit ironic but this improves the actual 7vs7 settings with markers.

Totally agree, maybe the sentence is too strict, about the Thunder League. It's useless to use hacks in a mode with markers and on small maps while hundreds of people are watching you.

That's right, I don't think different here. It may sounded a little bit different but I was referring to the post above, especially the sentence "imagine if they had won"... I just wanted to make it more clear that a software like this has no influence on those leagues.

Surprised this was not picked up in the pre tournament checks of each player's game files.

 

Also may be worth at least keeping an eye on what the squadron battle clans are saying. Serious suggestion. Instead of coming back with the same blanket response every time. There was warning of this. It wasn't that long ago that an Arcade clan came out of nowhere, with zero RB experience and thrashed everyone on the way to the top of the RB leaderboard. It was so obvious.

 

Gaijin needs to work on their PR after this and the E-100 Elo debacle.

Yeah, i know what you can do ''increase in the brightness of the game models, marker lights and the like'' and automatic aim (in the center) but i repeat: in the Thunder League they won honestly, they are not stupid to use hacks while hundreds people were watching (and they are pretty useless in this mode).

However this is not more important. It's done.

 

There are few things that can give unfair advantage: automatic rangefinder on RB (sniping skill +10) and tank outlines that show you if enemy can be shot through penetrable obstacles. That's very hard to point out on stream, because always you can say "Look how hard that guys had been training! Pinpoint accuracy from 85 mm cannon! Every map trained so well that they know where exactly take a shot! Excellent players!". Ya... Now we know that was all BS.
