[eSport] Gladiators 4x4 2016 Aircraft Setup

The aircraft setup for the 2016 Gladiator 4x4 tournament is finalized. After long time of testing, we have managed to make a setup that will be used in both, Realistic and Simulator modes.

 

This year, the Gladiator 4x4 tournament will have two stages: the qualifying automatic tournament and the play-offs stage.

 

A special mission was created for the Gladiator tournament which will guide your squad of 4 pilots through all 3 stages of the battle - 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2 and 4 vs 4. It will also automatically start the 4th round in case of draw.

 

The aircraft for the qualifying tournament are:

It was said, that the planesets would be different for RB and SB.... is this the RB or SB Setup?

After final testing yesterday, we decided to make one setup for both, RB and SB. So this setup applies to both modes.

As my cyrillic is slightly rusty...well that's a lie i never learned it...^^

 

Am i right to assume that: the russian planes are the Mig-3-15 and the Yak-1?

and after groups fight , in playoff will be use planes for 3 groups , right ?

 

When will be schedule of tournament ?

In the automated qualifying tournament, there will be 5 airplanes:

 

МиГ-3-15

Bf.109F-1

P-39N-0

J2M2

Typhoon Mk.1a

 

Each of these will be available for couple of days and then we will move to the next one. That means that everyone will fly on the same airplane (like in the regular Gladiators).

 

After the automated qualifier is over, before each match you will be able to choose the airplane of the match by having a draw with the captain of the opposite team (like we always did in the Gladiators).

Sorry about the delay guys, we are still getting the special Gladiator mission ready - as soon as it is finished, we will start the qualification. Mission is pretty complex, because it is a whole Gladiator match - 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 and even additional round (in case of 3:3 result) in one single session. Gaijin devs are working hard to polish it and test it thoroughly before we start using it.

There should be a timer. In case the timer is not implemented you can shoot immediately in the qualification...
