could you maybe upload your dxdiag log ? ( http://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/92103-how-to-dxdiag/ )

and maybe the latest launcher log (located in the ..\.launcher_log\  folder within the

War Thunder game directory) as well ?!

did this problem just start to happen (after a recent patch maybe) or did you always

experience this ?

I made dxdiag log but how to upload it :S

you need to go to the 'full editor' aka 'more reply options' next to the post button

on the full editor there is a button at the lower left side to upload files .

by default Windows10 enables / uses the HPET if it's supported by the system / hardware... the fact that it wasn't enabled on your

system makes me believe that it's just not supported (thus trying to disable it doesn't work ofc ^^). this specific performance issue

(freezing / fps lag) has been happening on quite a few Win10 (and Win8) systems and disabling HPET usually fixed the problem.

now it may be interesting to see what happens if the platformclock is being ENabled on your system but since this is a systemwide

setting the result is kinda unpredictable and in the worst case it may even prevent your Windows from starting completely so i'd

say that this is not an option (unless you know how to recover your system ;)

usually i'd have suggested to try both clients - the 64bit and the 32bit one - unfortunately however your CPU doesn't support SSE

4.1 which means you cannot run the 64bit client (this may actually be part of the problem but who knows =/)

there have been 2 other players with a rather similar system to yours (nForce chipset paired with a rather old AMD cpu) and both

had some quite severe performance issue (though as far as i remember they haven't had any (or as severe) issues with opening

the research tree or with the mouse movement) and there haven't been a workaround or solution found (besides upgrading the

system in one case)

however, there is one (more) thing you may try. since you are using the insider preview version of Windows10 you may try to

update it to the latest version (though i dont know what the current version is on the 'slow ring' so you may actually already have

the latest version unless you switch to the 'fast ring' which is already on a 14*** build version (compared to your 11082 build))

personally i dont really like updating my Windows10 because it always takes so daaaamn long but since it's being developed

quite extensively the changes between the versions often are rather big (not only related to the features but also related to the

supported hardware and performance)

...other than that i don't know (atm) - doesn't seem as if there are many options left =/

many bioses don't provide an option to change HPET but it appears to be disabled on your system anyway ;)

(since both of the commands listed in this thread didn't work on your system)

also yes im thinking to fully reinstall my windows soon.

in this case i'd recommend to go back to Win7 if possible ^^ (no, i'm not a Win10 hater - actually i think that it's pretty good (at least the idea of it ;))

just because of the better driver support for your hardware in Win7 and also this specific problem with opening the research tree has never been

reported to happen on Win7 systems (afaik) but only on Win8 and Win10 systems. (actually i can reproduce this issue on my own system - though

to a lesser degree and with the option to eliminate it by disabling HPET)
