Seriously Gaijin did you really think that this thing is capable at 7.7 BR?

 

It has an abysmal mobility which is even slower than M103 in terms of accelerate.

 

It's the gun that lacks fire power. I mean severely.

 

It has no APHE. Only HESH and APDS but APDS has a very poor after pen effects just like an APCR, much even worse than HEATFS.

 

So it has to be shoot faster to compensate that flaw BUT, Conqueror takes 19.4 sec to reload when it's at stock.

 

This, is simply just the worst fire power at 7.7 BR. Sure, It has relatively high pen but really? With APDS, there's almost 0 possibility that you can take out the enemy with 1 shot.

 

Usually it takes atleast 2-3 shots to kill unless you hit an ammorack or explode a fuel tank(Which is also very unlikely happening with APDS)as you have to snipe it's crew one by one.

 

And that's only takes 2-3 shots when they facing you frontally.

 

If you got flanked someone, good luck. God knows how many shots you need to put to take out just 1 guy. What is this an 12.0mm needle gun?

 

This isn't the worst part tho. it's a heavy tank. So if this thing was able to tank some incoming shots, i wouldn't even complaining right now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yea, have fun with deflecting shots. This thing has no better protection than any other Rank V heavies like T-10, IS-4, Maus, M103 or even Tiger 2 with 105mm gun.

 

The gun mantlet has 200mm thickness and that's ok. The real problem is, there's no turret armor behind near the main gun part.

 

I can understand that it cannot stop any HEATFS as every Rank V heavy tanks suffer from it. But even 100mm, 200mm APHE can right goes thru those spots and kill every crew inside. 

 

You also cannot use hull down effectively as it has a poor vertical guidance(-7/15) for a british tank and that xxxxx cupola on top of the turret.

 

Also the usual problem of british tanks. A paper thin lower glacis and side armor is also there. 

 

So to summarize it, this tank has an abysmal mobility, severely lacking fire power, and poorly protected.

 

I don't know why this thing is still sitting at 7.7 BR it needs to be lower. There's so much better tanks at this BR like Leopard 1, T-54 1951, M47, M103, IS-4, IS-3 etc etc.

Armor are not so well and Mobility is not the best with no neutral steering

 

Instead of M103, your Conqueror have free APDS, good turret and low profile

How are you using the Conqueror??? are you closing with the other team's tanks or do you stand off and snipe the other teams tanks???

 

The Conqueror is basically a self propelled gun which was designed to fight from a hull down position behind the formations of Centurion tanks and use its gun to knock out tanks that are at a range of 1000m - 1500m . The Conqueror is not very good at close quarters fighting which is something we see a lot of in War Thunder so your best bet is to stay as far away from the other team as you can and snipe. Most British tanks do not do well at close quarters.

M103 is better simply because of .50 cal machine gun.

 

Conq is obsolete, just like any other heavy tank. Chieftain, Centurion, M60, Leopard are simply superior. T-10 is kinda ok, but only because T-54 is even worse.

First of all HESH is not HEAT. It's different.

M103 simply has much reliable protection overall. Conqueror cannot provide reliable protection against even low pen APHE.

And HEATFS >>>>>> APDS whether cheap or not.

I'd pick my M103 over this xxxx Conqueror anytime.

mmm no, both tanks can be pened in the front. as a matter of fact M103 still has bugged cheeks of the turret. ZSU 57-2 pens M103 in the cheeks, where 430mm of armor and 73 degrees angle.

Conqueror has less shell-drop over long range. That is its only advantage over Chieftain in RB.

It was the only British tank that I was somewhat interested in. After playing it once on a friend's account. What a piece of shit. Literally enjoyed playing the M103 without HEAT more. It will be terrible at 7.0 as well.
