I seem to recall reading something a while back that stated that Sony has plans to eventually make the PSVR compatible with PCs for the very same reasons Muzz mentioned: a very decent virtual reality experience to an enormous demographic at a far lower price point than the competition which will run on computers that may not have the latest top-of-the-line hardware.

I don't remember reading anything about a specific timeframe for the PC compatibility, but if/when it happens, it should prove to be a huge boon to Sony.

is there any way to get a pc to tv screen to work.   i saw some glass's for one person viewing for a tv.   this would be cool.

for a home made rig.

may not be 360 viewing, but still good at 50dec.with IR tracking.

PC to TV screen is easy so long as you have HDMI out on your PC. Just use an HDMI lead to connect the PC and TV. Then select the appropriate HDMI out options in the PC's video and sound settings. Easy as really.

I view my laptop video on my HD TV when watching movies and YouTube.

Anyway, back to PSVR..  :)

The news on PSVR is, there is nothing new... It actualy starts to worry me a bit, when all they say is "it will happen, its being worked on" all the time, kind of feels like the stuff they says about bomber cockpits.

Any news would feel better then this.

Agreed. WT wasn't the only reason I bought a PSVR, but it was one of the primary factors. I fail to understand why we don't have support for it yet when the game already works with the Rift and Vive, and has for some time.

Yupp, the only thing that do not worry me, is that they sayd the same about the OR and the Vive, kind of came out of thin air with no news before it when the full support for them was launched, feel that telling us about progress would be better.. But guess they think boats are more interesting to the regular WT player at the time.

Hundreds (if not thousands) of new players which would love to play a WT for an immersive WW2 VR experience.  Boggles the mind why Gaijin wouldnt be all over this...  A free to play game with a VR experience would attract lots of people I dare say.  You wouldnt even need to buy a JS as the DS4 works wonderfully well for SB.

On an other note, when the OR was launched, it took around 1,5 mounths before it was fully supported, so within the next 30 days maybe, it isnt unlikely there will be some news, its just me making a guess though.

Hi. Since the starting of the PSVR, i am really disappointed about the fact that gaijin don't give any information about it.. They should do it fast, cause i guess that ps4 players won't play anymore this good game that is WT .We begin to think that ps4 users are kind of screwed compares to pc users.. This last days, i did connect to it and didn't see any *Nicname which means ps4 p players..I do not care about the Navy stuff, i would prefer that the psvr game ready before it . I guess we are plenty in this case .

They said in another thread that Gaijin is under non disclosure agreement with Sony. And therefore they cannot promise us any date, until they are 100%  sure the PSVR support is ready.

Personally, I think it will be made available with christmas update.

Wait, NDA prevents promising a date? Hasn't it been stated that ships CBT begins in 2017. How is that any different?

Something stinks here and it doesn't seem to be the cheese.

It's OBT, and it's not PS4-specific thing like VR support.
