Pavelfrommetro 4 Report post Posted October 17, 2016 (edited) Ok guys, so I just watched the Greatest Tank Battles episode on the Six-day war (link below) and I thought "hey, I'd like to play this in war thunder". So, I fired up the forums and decided to post this suggestion for an event based on the Six-day war. Now for those of you who don't know, the six-day war was fought from June 5th - June 10th, 1967. It was fought between Israel and the United Arab Republic (Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, although Egypt did most of the fighting.) In the Sinai Desert. On the first day the Israeli military launched a surprise attack on Egypt in which Israeli Air Force obliterated most of the Egyptian air force as they were still on the ground. The IDF strategy was to move so quickly that the Egyptian military was always surprised, and this tactic worked extremely well. Now, for the actual implementation into the game. Most of the Israeli vehicles used are not currently in the game, so stopgaps will have to be accepted such as M4A3E2 76 W jumbos in place of the modified shermans. Finally, the prizes. For the allied side, An M51 super Sherman, and for the Axis, an Egyptian T-55 with a custom skin and slightly lower BR and the RP and SL boost of all other premium/event vehicles.
