  1. 1. Do you want this Rank 4 tank in the main tree, or as a premium?

    • Yes, main tree altho there is no tree for Light tanks...
    • Yes, A premium, makes sense
    • No

While the M24 Chaffee was a successful design, its main gun was not effective enough against well armored opponents. Although the primary mission of a light tankwas scouting, the U.S. Army wanted one with more powerful armament. The development of the new tank, T37, began in 1947. The vehicle was designed to be air-transportable, and the desired anti-tank capabilities were provided by installing a long 76 mm gun with an advanced rangefinder. In 1949, with the adoption of a less ambitious rangefinder, the project's designation was changed to T41.[2]Production started in 1951 at Cadillac's Cleveland Tank Plant, and by 1953 the new tank completely replaced the M24 in the United States Army. Initially it was nicknamed "Little Bulldog", then renamed "Walker Bulldog" after General Walton Walker, who was killed in a jeep accident in Korea in 1950.

The M41 was an agile and well armed vehicle. However, it was also noisy, fuel-hungry and heavy enough to cause problems with air transport. In 1952 work began on lighter designs (T71, T92), but those projects came to naught and were eventually abandoned.

The Walker Bulldog saw limited combat with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, but for the most part, the conflict served as a testing ground to work out the tank's deficiencies, especially with its rangefinder. At the time, it was designated as the T41, and was rushed to the battlefield even before its first test run.[citation needed] This was due to the fact that the North Koreans were supplied with Soviet T-34 tanks, which were superior to the M24. By 1961, 150 were delivered to the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force to supplement their Type 61 medium tanks.

To help the new allied country that is West Germany got new tanks from the Americans like the M47 patton and M41A3 Walker Bulldog to possibly fight the East Germans that used all Soviet Tanks. This tank will be Rank 4 Premium in the German line at BR 6.3 (Same as American and Japanese M41) Only visual differences are that this German version's got Electrically operated smoke discharges (Four on each side) The M41A3: M41A1 tanks that had their engines upgraded to fuel injection. m4 -1.JPG

Only voted no, because I'd rather see it in the main tree.

Nice, now I wish it would reset my vote like the old forums use to be able to do.  Thanks for changing that, should help his poll quite a bit.

I would kind of like it, but I understand Sim players complaints about friendly fire when it comes to foreign tanks.

Did the german receive any local mods/versions that would make them look more distinctive? If they differ in noticeable details it would probably enough for the main tree, if not they're a good premium/gift tank at least.

Isn't the post-war SB GF UK, Germany, and US vs USSR?

Yes as both (like how the Jadgpanther is in main tree and as a premium)

The premium Jagdpanther is a command variant of the normal Jagdpanther.  While the in-game benefits are nil, it is not a mere identical copy-paste job of the standard Jagdpanther.

No....Its not needed. There are german designs that can fill a similar role. Its not like Japan where there is literarly nothign else to fill the gap.

germany does not have era V light tank, Bulldog and Ru251 are the only options

I'd want it in the main tree before the Ru 251

But why have this when you can have the HS-30 and Spahpanzer S.P.I.C?

Are you sure there was a 90 mm walker bulldog used by Germany? The only 90mm one I found was the T49 (us Proto)

There were a few other 90mm armed M41s, such as the Brazillian M41B

Image result for m41 90mm

I don't know if there was any version used by Germany with a 90mm though.
