[Solved] War Thunder can't run while using Steam for launcher problems

Hello, everyone! i'm kinda of new here. I'm in troubling, please. It's my first time, dude. I did download and install and clicked "PLAY" nothing happened open.

 

EXPLANATION but it's long. Feel free to skip read this...

I tried, click "PLAY". Nothing happening to open up in-game. I looked up on community, they says that can be run in aces.exe worked for it. I've give a try, I opened on where War Thunder are installed/locale directly folder. I found it aces.exe in the win32 & win64.

Another coming up. There's run.exe. I select it and open, as normal. Nothing, then try run as administrator. Nothing happens. Something in my mind....

I realized aces.exe when I clicked "YES" was at launcher.exe won't open up. I went aces.exe where are in folder win32 & win64. I run it, and decide as think. I clicked NO. It open and run!

 

Back then, few hours ago. When I run on run.exe... There's error says.

Please try to verify the game files within Steam

1. right click on War Thunder in the library
2. -> properties
3. -> local files
4. -> verify integrity of game cache

Then start the launcher and test it.

Hi, thanks. I did follow your instruction. But unfortunately...

 

After the verify the Integrity of game cache. I went click "PLAY" nothing happened. When I saw the "War Thunder - Running", then after few second, it "Running" is disappear while I see my status is Online went In-Game, then Online again.

 

Repeatedly, I verify integrity of game cache. I will go to locale directly folder. I'll try run launcher.exe with administrator. Nothing happened.

 

By the way. instead of win32 & win64... there's some .dll files in this folder.

Please look in the War Thunder directory if there is the launcherr.dat. If yes, please delete this file.

Then download the War Thunder Installer, perform him and choose the already existing War Thunder directory (should normally detected by itself). Now it should reinstall some files, adjust a few settings new and then start to analyzing the files. Once it is done try again.
