Senior Forum Moderator TheElite96 5,839 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 Are all the processes for War Thunder being closed after you close the game? Aces.exe is one of the processes for War Thunder, you may want to check if this is still running by going to your Task Manager, and searching for aces.exe Spoiler

relliK 3,227 Report post Posted January 18, 2017 the run.exe is only the updater for the launcher (so it 's not really related to the game neither is it needed ^^) however, it's being installed (and ran) by default so Steam may deem it as being part of the 'game'... since it's the updater for the launcher it needs to be granted access to the internet (in the firewall) to work properly - or you can just force quit the run.exe in the task manager (and maybe even delete it from the WT game folder - though when there is a launcher update the run.exe will be installed again)
