Type 89 IFV running around with the Gepards gun and the full hvap-t, 1200m/s ,112mm belt gepard had for a short time, this already sounds way better than this marder or did the type 89 not have any hvap-t ammo?

wow and in WT we don't have infantry and these will be fighting tanks with that kind of ammo and no ridiculous SL cost?

If added to the game are these vehicles going against current end tier tanks and sitting within 8.0 to 8.3 BR? Or we are talking about adding these much more later with ERA/composite armor tanks?

 

If you can, can you mention the rest of the IFV with thier AP ammo that they'll be getting within WT limit?

I did some research but not sure what pen the ammo has and which can be added in WT

 

I can already hear high tier GF people raging if these are added to game now with some of ammo I saw and please don't suggest these to be  premium

Most likely. It was around that time, that these kind of vehicles were becoming common fashion. They are supposed to be infantry support with anti tank capabilities slapped on top of that. 

In War Thunder they would heavily rely on flanking maneuvers. Their autocannon won't be ably to engage much outside the scope of anything like very lightly armored or soft targets. No top Tier MBT would be penetrated by these autocannons frontally.  Also their ATGMs are powerful, but most of them have terribly long reloads.

On version 1A1 an anti-tank guided missile launcher MILAN can be mounted to the right side of the turret to provide enhanced anti-armour capabilities. Typically six missiles are carried inside the vehicle.

Marder 1A1 carry a Euromissile MILAN ATGM system of 2,000 m range with five missiles, which means that the number of soldiers transported has been reduced from six to five.

ok i checked something. the testing and retrofitting phase of the Raketenjagdpanzer 2 started in 1978 and resulted in the Jaguar 1 in 1983. so theoretically we have 2 80s tanks in the game already

IIRC, they were initially MCLOS. In the early-mid 90s, they were upgraded to SACLOS.

Not the ones in game. The ones in game have SACLOS guidance, so must be from the mid-90s when the SWIG upgrade came about.

Light cannon, no armor to speak of, but at least it's swift and has an ATGM, I suppose.
