Should the AEC armored car be added?

Here’s a few things I’m hoping for:

 

AEC Mk. I:

- Placed around BR 2.3.

- The 2-Pdr gets its penetration corrected.

- The 2-Pdr gets its missing SAP shell.

 

AEC Mk. II split into two vehicles.

AEC Mk. II (L/43):

- Placed around BR 3.0.

- Armed with 6-Pdr Mk. III.

-The 6-Pdr Mk. III gets its penetration corrected.

- Gets missing smoke grenades.

- Gets missing 4th crewmember.

 

AEC Mk. II (L/50): 

- Placed around BR 3.3.

- Armed with 6-Pdr Mk. V.

- The 6-Pdr Mk. V gets its penetration corrected.

- The 6-Pdr Mk. V gets APDS. 

- Gets missing smoke grenades.

- Gets missing 4th crewmember. 

 

AEC Mk. III:

- Placed around BR 2.7 - 3.0.

- Armed with QF 75mm.

- The QF 75mm gets access to M61 shot (inert), M61 round (APHE), M72, and smoke rounds.

- Gets missing smoke grenades.

- Gets missing 4th crewmember.

 

A couple of notes:

- I say missing based off of the current AEC already in-game. 

- I include the M61 APHE round due to Whelmy’s bug report, which shows that it was used in QF 75mm guns.

- I wish someone could find more info on the “Transitional Mk. II” equiped with a Crusader Mk. III turret, as it’d be a cool machine. 

- Would also be cool to see some of the AA mounts as an unlockable modification.

Just passing on some ideas.  :salute:

 

Just to let you know, only the Mk. I had 65mm maximum armour thickness, being a Valentine turret. All later variants Mk. II - Mk. III had a maximum thickness of 1.25 inches (31.75mm).

 

All sources were dug up by Whelmy.
