i would like to propose the Canadian Sabre. the Canadair CL13 Sabre Mk.4 for the Italian tree.

the CL13 Sabre was a Canadian License built of the North-American F-86 sabre. the first CL13 was essentially the same as the F-86A. the first plane flew in 1950. there was 6 varriation of the CL13 Sabre. they was named from mk.1 to mk.6. the Italian used the varriant Mk.4 wich was using the same engine, the same weapon as the Mk.1. the only difference in the Mk.4 are mostly in the improved air-conditioning in the cockpit (yes, the Canadian are so nice they think about the pilot comfort.) the all-flying tail, the V-shaped windshield, pressurization controls, and canopy release. . the Orenda engine was originally planned but the Engine wasn't ready on time. The Italian bought 180 of those plane and put them into service in 1957 but 1 of them crashed on delivery.

a few Italian CL13 was sent to Philipine and Congo in 1963 to support the local operation. most of the CL13 remained in Italia untile March 1965 when it was replaced by the F-104G. the plane was based on the F-86 and offer vitally the same feature. the few difference was to make the production easier for the canadian industry. the airplane was powered by the Americana J47-GE-27 turbojet engine. a air intake was in the nose of the plane and a exhaust in the tail for the powerful thrust of the engine. 6x M3 12.7 MG was set on the plane. 3 on each side of the nose. the plane could carry up to 2400kg of bomb in 4x hard-point in the wing. a variety of rocket launcher could also be carried on the wing.

Hi, from where you took the specifications of the aircraft?

I cannot find it on any of the sources you listed, and looks like you copy pasted from the F86 wikipedia page that report the specifications of the F-86-F40-NA that are significantly superior and different from the CL-13 Mk.4 while should have similar performances of an F-86-A5.

the Cl.13 was a license built of the F-86 so the specification should remain the same or approximately. the CL.13 Mk.V is already in the game. the Mk.V had an new engine that was less costly for the canadian to built and more powerful. the Mk.IV was an upgraded version of the original CL.13 but most of the modification was meant for the safety and comfort of the pilot or to accommodate the canadian industry. so basically it is the same as the F-86 specification as it is in the wikipedia

Absolutely false. The the performances are very similar to the ones of an F-86-A5 that are completely different from an F-86-F40.

you are right. the information on the engine from the source mentioned the J47-GE-27 engine. i now review some of the important information and corrected accordingly. the acceleration should be lower but the max speed seem to be slightly reduced.
