My question is, will the dev server downlaod trick work with the steam version or will it download the 1gb steam files every time i copy the dev server files into the steam WT folder? I like downloading big patches on the devserver since i bypass long download times on patch day. I hope i can copy that content to the steam wt folder without everytime having to download 1-1.5 GB steam files wt conversion. relliK 3,227 Report post Posted June 15, 2017 umm... the launcher itself got a very nice feature ^^ it actually 'sees' your other installs and if there is newer content in the other folder(s) that can be used to update the game in the current folder it will automatically copy those files. so actually you dont really need to do anything but start the game / launcher on the patchday. ofc there will still be a (small ?!) download / update since the last dev client version and the version being released to the live server usually dont match (100%) - there are still some (last second) changes ^^ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
