With the US Navy and Kriegsmarine set to be the two starting factions of the Naval CBT (an interesting choice admittedly - I would've gone with the US Navy and Imperial Japanese Navy myself), Germany is in dire need of more torpedo bombers to effectively deal with American destroyers and cruisers from the air, particularly ones that aren't just flak/fighter bait like the He 111H-6.  I'll support this.

Germany is going to be the first nation to have a naval tech tree (along with the U.S), so I think the Germans need planes with torpedoes.

Yup. Currently they only have torpedoes on the He 111H-6 and the Do 217M-2(IIRC)

(and some of the Italian S.M.79's but I'm not counting those since they are not available to everyone)

The 217K can also carry torps.

 

But it's still a sad state of affairs all around.

Germany lacks weapon for naval warfare, they only have Fritz-X atm  but it can only be mounted on bombers. They do not have rocket/torpedo ordonnance for fighter/ground attaker to use against ground and naval targets

 

The Fw 190 would ressemble to the BTD with this torpedo

With 1.83 bringing the OBT of the Naval forces for the US, German and Russian tech tree's, and CBT for the British, I thought it would be a good idea to take a look at how many planes that can carry torpedoes, each nation has. Let's just say, it's not looking good for either Germany nor Russia, but at least Russia has premiums to help.
