Most hated or favourite vehicle (personally) - Merged

Best answer

This is a discussion of what vehicles fellow players like/do not like to play in the game.

Not only is it entertaining, but it can be a very effective and useful research tool for a newerish player when trying to decide what to try to unlock.

But be aware that as time goes by, vehicles can change in how they perform or operate after updates.  Ultimately the final verdict always rests with each individual player and their play styles.

I mean, M46, T32 has 90mm, tier 5, I find the pretty nice, granted M46 for heatfs

M46 heatfs does no damage. IS 6 vs me. What can I do ?

Shoot turret wierd bounce/non pen. Shoot hull driver eats entire stream of hot metal.

T54s Cant aim for ammo cause the fuel tank would eat my shot aim for driver kill driver or driver + gunner

The damage for that shell is bad

I meant the short 90mm M46/M26 not the long one with long reload

That changes now and then for me. Atm: The p-47.
It is a great plane and fun to play, but whatever nation you play and against whatever nation: In a special spectrum of BR you see them everywhere and you have to fight them.
When i am playing american planes around 4.0 +/-1 i face at least 2 P-47s on the enemy team. Most time more.
No, i don't "hate" the vehicle. It's just a bit enervating at the moment.

Inflation is not good. No no.

My second worst tank if the FERDINAND..Slow, poor manoeuvrability, sluggish, BUT good front armour is only what makes it worth playing..Too big and easily spotted on maps = death assured if spotted.

.. here I disagree. Spaded Ferdinand is quite nimble, decent gun, decent accuracy, decent armour. Unspaded ... mhee ... but fully geared does the job very well.

the ridiculously OP, pay2win sissybolts and the ridiculously OP gunners in the pay2winBV's....hell ANY pay2win plane is for sissies and suckers...

but instead of making the game fair and let the pilots decide which planes are best, they have this undecipherable "battle rating" "system", that no one can actually explain, where they constantly manipulate aerodynamics and ballistics so "some" nations don't get embarrassed....then there's "matchmaking"...no one can explain that either...gaijin is more interested in making money than making a fair, honest game where the players decide what planes are better without "enhanced" abilities for some....

M60 for me in Ground Forces.

Maybe it's because it's not fully upgraded, but I feel so underpowered in it. Sluggish mobility, not-so-great turret armor, and a very high pen but low post pen damage round. It reminds me why I love my M103 so much.

I don't know my dude...

I mostly adapt on every vehicle and try to get most out of it.

I would vote for Archer, worst thing in my opinion.

It feels like it's your first time when you get a kill.

Still, you can get some kills and then run into cover.

Totally true.

If you're able to cover your lower hull, you're going to get some kills for sure.

88mm gun is great!

Most dissapointing to me was the Mosquito, it was supposed to be one of the fastes planes at the time but cant outrun nothing in this game. And the italian P108A with that 102mm gun in the nose, it is fune if you have the luck to snipe a bomber with the gun as i have don some times but it is like shoting planes with a tank main gun. I have tryed to atack cargo ships with the gun but it cant hurt them. and hitting ground unids, you need some luck, and it is so big so every enemy fighter will just hunt it down before you can do much damage.

Halifax . Technically a great heavy bomber with 4 engines , but in reality all it takes is BF 109 F4/Hitlerbolt/Yak-9K/Yak-9T and almost every plane with 20 mm cannon on your tail and you'r dead.

Again, the plane is not useless. The AI ships DM is xxxx and old as hell. That's why with the P.108A you can't do nothing to ships.

Hmm.Archer is worthless/.Ki-44 is fun but a leaf kills it. Me163 B jet is a low ammo piece of crap for usage in tank battles. Fire off a round and you wait the rest of the time to reload and it has no control in a dive, fugetbutit. UK's FV4005 is a ten story building with paper machete armour and takes twenty minutes to reload and reposition, worthless in game mode. Maybe in sims( can't play due to my set up) if you have a LOT of camo and can hit from two klicks away. Most bombers if no escort but maybe the worst is the German FW200 or the UK's welly. US M56 is a fun little humper tanks but the thing kicks like a mule and armor is the steel toed boots the men are wearing. Not impressed at all by the M50 Ontos. Should be a mile away tank killer but so inaccurate people run the map trying for a one shot before they're f;lamed by any weapon larger than an M-1 rifle or a few well places rocks. Again on the US side the premium US calliope( even the German one) sucks. Fine, fire twenty rockets that makes 4th of July look cool but a BB gun knocks em out. and it costs what 9800 eagles? $50 bucks for that just to get to a pretty good tank( I do not own because refuse to buy the Cllilope) means you are spending over $60.00(US a bit less EU) for two tanks but one you might use with the M26 which is fairly decent( forom what I've seen) but you can grind the M26 just not the m26 -99

More? Okay...someday WT will use me as a writer. Love writing and trying for humor, at times

Another US tank do is the premium T114 but again thisis a fun tank and I scream loud enough for the neighbors to call the local mental ward for a three day 5150 observation when I kill something...even a tree!

BR messes are the F7f and the P51H....now I love both these planes but a p51H at 6.3 has one fighting jets which sometimes works but you will die especially is guys has satrads and coordinate and attack. The F7F is great fun but wings get blown off faster than a moth hitting a lightbulb in a Suzy homemaker kit( don't ask, my sister stillll hates me and that was mid 20th century...fun but at 6.7 you are battling jets again and all those jets except the German ski POS Me163 is hopefully reloading and the session runs out....

Off to UK ville:

Swordfish? Okay this is fun as long as you are playing solo and the ship you are trying to hit is still moored in Peal Harbor after the japanese did their number on December 7th 1941. Mentioned the welly. Guys use in AB, start their declination and hope to God they can get the bombs off before a German d-1-- with their heavy 7.7's knock a wing off with just the prop sounds.

Now the Wirraway is a TRAINER for the Aussies. Now you have to have a wild and crazy go for it attitude like the out-backers running through the air billabong but any country including some Brazilian tribes never even heard of year take aim with their arrows, salivating and hoping for a slice of pterodactyl for din din

UK tanks?? Hmmm I can't remember all of them but so many can't reverse, sort of like Italian drivers in Rome...everyone is Mario Andretti but damn need to reverse just wave that borrowed French flag and hope the infantry is farting while laughing watching you skee-daddle out any hole you can crawl out of...not funny WT cause it's one heck of a "historical" serious bad deal. Maybe when General Patton was creating his cardboard army he told old Gen Mont,"he Eff the reverse, we never used it in Africa.." Jolly good idea mate, hey engineers bugger the reverse!" Now one close to the FV4005 is the Conway looking like a Lego xxxx but it does a number on opposing tanks so I'll leave it....in a bog somewhere.

CCCP,,,oh what fun, nothing is bad it's Stalinium and anyone gets creative about denigrating the CCCP you head off to the gulag and if yoo're lucky you can write a rebuttle longer than Aleksadnr Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago, whilst eating rocks and moldy crap hoping maybe Khrushchev might be a bit more kind for the crime of crapping your pants in 40 below retreat...just cut a hole ...oh never mind..USSR planes:

29-K...serious. People see that thing and they can flick boogers and it blows itself up from the humiliation. Put it on a train track and it will work. Thing is in WW-II whether is be the firing rates on the IS tanks or others you had 200-to thousands of tanks all running together and firing as fast as the guys could load on watered borscht and a few dried radishes but individual tanks without good back up they stink.

Planes Mig 3-34 a great plane but reload time in AB is poor. In AB as you well know if you get more than a 20 second reload you are dead or going to be. Not many take it out in RB for this reason unless they get to height, kill some dork everyone hates and hope to God the AAA in Norway can miss them back to reload for one last run, not a bad plane.

Worst are the yak 15 and Yak 17...no ammo poor maneuverability and if no back up forget it. Nobomb loads to you spin around the map with no ammo and some guys are chasing you with more energy, more turn rate, better jets or props and you're hoping old Khrushchev's people army didn't forget to remember that cheap  silk they got in bulk from China will hold something more than a couple Pirushkis( hey it's Polish but the Ruskies declare the worthy of breaching the border again someday).

Rounding out the japan tank tree was historically crappy as was the Italian Planes and French planes. One can earn or has earned these planes from either the US or Germany but it's odd for me personally for grind out a bad already D320 from France when I own it and don't use it in the UK because the Hurricanes and early spits are better. Hard with Japanese tanks when the M24 and a half dozen others are grinded in the US or french planes( atrocious are all NOT used much( except higher ones) in the uS tree, same same with the Italians a dn the German tree.

In all it's fun but no on the P108 or any Italian bomber, they are bad. No on middle fighters in France BUT I've read their jets are historically ahead of their time and were because i remember reading so good on ya French. The Italian Fighters are very good but they need mid boomers. Add a P47!

Japan had too many dogs to listen to but get past br3.7 and you get a good line up. Their bombers are iffy and their jets imaginative and were good until the new jets from other countries made the R2 and others pretty much obsoleteI hate grinding through a Japanese tank tree hoping for an American SPAA or an American tanks

BUT IT'S A GAME AND SOME GUYS DO WELL IN ANYTHING...and others like me have to pick and choose carefully because all the jokes I make lose lions, lose game, lose friends and the laughter echoes in my ears so bad I need a LOT of psych meds and my snowflake 12 step program to sop.

Hope you enjoyes as much as I enjoyed the fun writing( first draft from the daft one

Love all peace, and I love cluster bombs,

CKecho...find me, I'm not the best but you will have fun flying with me!

The H.35 now makes my list as the most frustrating vehicle to play as.

The gun's penetration is the worst aspect about it, even more so than the sluggish speed and turning.

Even the Japanese 37mm gun can penetrate far more than it.

I agree it is kind of confusing when you use the Archer. You are fast in the reverse but your gun does not aim backwards..... Its kind of amusing to be fair.

No

Your slow in reverse, your gun aims backwards

For me it's any tank that bounces it's gun aim when ever you come to a complete stop, and it takes 5 seconds for the aim to return to normal, and by the time that happens, your dead.

EDIT: I am mainly referring to high tier tanks with this issue.

The Japanese fighter trees in Rank 1-2 seem designed for masochists. All of the tress except perhaps the Soviet and French can be a bit grindy to get to where the "good stuff" starts around BR 2.3-3.0, but man, the Japanese are especially rough. Crappy guns, low rate of fire, paper thin and prone to burst into flames from a stern look in their general direction.

I silently scream "MY STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATS!" every time I'm falling to the earth, transformed into a smoking fireball of fail from the faintest touch from a P-26 spray-and-praying at something else 3km away across the map.

The float plane fighters are the worst. "Oh you want a Zero? Well GF you ###tter, you have to suffer for it first!"

With that said, when I actually manage to both hit and kill something with the Ki-43, it does indeed feel good, man.

I despise the 10.5 cm Tiger 2 with a passion which is a shame as I quite enjoyed the Tiger 2 (H); I know there are people who make the tank work, and work well but for me; nope. I keep getting uptiered to either 7.7 or 8.0 and going against T-54's, IS-3s, IS-4M's, etc is not very ideal for this tank; though, the few games that I have managed to get top tier, the Tiger 10.5 excels at killing everything. Seeing as I now have the T-54 1947, guess I'll take that monster out and see where I get killed from to see if there is a weakspot that I've yet to notice.
