i would like to suggest a prototype of long-range fighter that could fit well in the game, the Nc.600

nc600-1.jpg

The Nc.600 was a plane designed by the SNCAC company based on the Hanriot H.220. the plane was in direct competition with the SE.100 and the Potez 670 to fill the long range fighter role in the Armée de L'aire. the plane was a direct development of the H.220-2 with the design to meet the specification for a long range fighter of 1936. 6 prototype was ordered in 1939 for testing purpose in the anticipation of a major conflict. different combination of 7.5mm and 20mm was studied to fit into the Nc.600 and finally a combination of two Hs 404 20mm cannon and two 7.5mm Mac 34 mg fix in the front and a hs 404 20mm cannon in the rear on a flexible mount for the gunner was selected. with that armament, the plane was tested in the first flight the 15 Mai 1940. 2 of the 6 plane was built went France surrender to the German the 22 June 1940. the 4 plane left was in different stage of construction and the project was drop with the take over by the German of the factory of Bourges and Avord where the plane was built and tested.

while been a relatively good plane, the Nc.600 was still behind his competitor. while still in development, the Nc.600 receive an order of 6 plane for testing purpose while his competitor, the Potez 671 received and order of 100 aircraft and the Se.100 for 300 aircraft. the Nc.600 was a decent plane by himself with a good speed and good defensive armament. but the Potez had the capacity to carry bomb and the Se.100 a greater firepower. the Nc.600 was faster but not designed to carry any bomb. the all metal plane was built for a single purpose, hunting plane. the need of a fast fighter was even more important with the very frequent scout plane coming from Germany who was reporting daily the disposition of the french army. the fly test of the Nc.600 was lost but the plane was qualified as surprisingly maneuverable for a twin engine.

On the plan above, you can see the location of the weapons on the front part ... and in the wings because it was planned to add four Mac machine guns in the wings. It is also mentioned on the document.

So I propose the idea of adding two versions of the NC 600:

The First with this original armament in the main tree.

The second with its planned armament in premium or in event vehicle.

For Gaijin it's interesting because we end up with two planes for the price of one.

Moreover, assuming that the NC 600 is an evolution of the Hanriot 220, it should logically have the same cockpit.

That's good, we already know this cockpit:

Knowing that there are two versions of the Hanriot 220 with two different engines, it's very interesting.

This would give the French a twin-engine family comparable in games to the BF 110 (although inferior in terms of armament but superior in dogfighting) and registered in the continuity of the Breguet 693 already in games.
