How map and game modes are chosen?

Hi guys, I'm kinda new to the game, but I don't understand a thing: why if I play with Germany (Tier I) there are no ground base to attack (more fun IMHO) meanwhile with Britain (Tier II) there are? I don't understand how map and game modes are chosen in the matchmaking.

P.S. I use AB only.

What battle ratings are you playing in each nation? Did you start one only recently? If you start fresh in a tech tree you will only see maps with light vehicles and no bases to bomb. The other maps will unlock once you progress in battle rating. There are different opinions what triggers the advance. It could be unlocking a vehicle of BR 3.0 or unlocking your first tier II vehicle (just unlocking it, not necessarily playing it). Also at BR 2.0 or 2.3 you might get uptiered and see different maps. Your statcard shows that you have planes in tier II for Britain but only tier I for germany.

Yeah, I didn't write one "I" for Brits, my fault.

Anyway, now is clear!

Just one more question: mixed battles (tanks and aircrafts), how can I play one?

In tanks is possible use aircraft. In AB only as a minievent for limited (50seconds) time. In RB battles after you will loose your tank you can choose plane if you had enought respawn points. IN RB you have to own that plane and have it placed in you crew slot in AB it is random plane depend if you choosed fighter/attacker/bomber.
