StratosBear 315 Report post Posted January 15, 2018 I thought of opening a new thread regarding how to be more effective bomber and deliver your whole payload, which ideally would be destruction of all 3 Bases and leftovers for AF. Have 2 more heavy bombers going with you and you'll win the game. Here goes my first and ofc- any other successful heavy bomber pilot is more than welcome to add their own maps. I will update the collection when I have time again. green is the course of a heavy bomber. the red dotted line is area of high enemy activity blue dotted line is high allied fighter activity (which by no means mean air cover for bombers) Heavy bomber is expected to climb hard at the beginning of the battle and go to instructor cruise speed when majority of high altitude fighters are spotted either lower or 20km+ out to reach targets in time. Idea is not to avoid detection completely but to arrive high enough to be able to finish the bomb run. Map works best at tier 2-4 on clear/partially cloudy weather. PS. Just because a map got uploaded - it doesnt change anything significantly in game- majority will always go straight into the red zone and that's where enemy interceptors will wait mostly- If you ever get intercepted out of the blue on the green trail - chances are that this particular enemy has lots of hours on bomber too. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
IAmBushTactics 23 Report post Posted April 20, 2018 (edited) Isn't the better route is for bombers to go the opposite way? (i.e., instead of going towards the left side of the map go for the rightside). I'm only suggesting the other way because you're going through 2 of your own bases on the left side which means that you may encounter enemy bombers heading towards those objectives.
