blackoutmegatron@psn 192 Report post Posted February 25, 2018 Boost research is not worth it at all. It costs a lot compared to what you'll get. Plus it's only once. A Premium vehicle, premium account is much more worth it. Be it you get both in a bundle or get them seperately, doesn't really matter. A talisman is also a very good option to put on a vehicle you like. It'll also grind the modifications faster and if you complete a tier of modifications it also gives you some RP. I don't recommend doing things that are only a one time use, like boost rp with GE. So in short. I find them all worth it except the boost research.

(moderators pls dont delete it if its not in the right session) Premium time gives you 100% more RP and 50% more SL for all nations. The biggest downside is that once you get it your premium days start counting down and there's no way to stop it. If you play a lot and play multiple nations, this is probably the best investment. Premium vehicles give you RP and SL, depending on the vehicle itself and the tier. Higher tiers tend to be more effective, but more expensive as well. They're good if you're focusing on grinding a single nation as extra RP only goes to that nation and tree. Do your research before buying a premium, particularly an expensive one, as not all of them are good. Some are average and some are plain awful (ZUT-37, I'm looking at you). Bundles tend to have a good value for the vehicle and the extra stuff, but again check if it's a good vehicle beforehand and if you really want the extra stuff like GE and premium days. Talismans only give extra RP towards one nation. No extra SL. I'm not a fan of them. And boosted research, no. Just no. The conversion rate is ridiculous. Avoid like the plague. 1
maxmillian@psn 1,634 Report post Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) Wait until the next 50% off sale before you do anything. Talismans, premium time, bundles, and premium vehicles are all discounted by 50%. Next one is April or May iirc. _ScottyDoesntKnow_ 90 Report post Posted February 26, 2018 I lean more towards premium account. Bundles are great, but if you end up not liking the vehicle/s in the bundle, you are stuck with said vehicles. But hey, you can never have too many vehicles! 1

Bundles are great, but if you end up not liking the vehicle/s in the bundle, you are stuck with said vehicles. But hey, you can never have too many vehicles! Personal Observation: Premium time: I am inclined to agree that this is the best option. For an established player this is the best route. Every match in planes or ground, in any mode, a person will be boosting their rewards and for every single vehicle taken into a match; not just the one. For most players this is the best option. The best time to really take advantage of it though is during the winter sales. Often then you can catch a sale on the premium time for 1/2 cost. Bundles: I think for a newer player the bundles can be a good route. It will give them a vehicle, GE, and some premium time. But as mentioned, there are some vehicles that are hard to play. But with a bundle you can usually get yourself in a tier you are more interested in and can avoid some of the problematic lower tiers of certain nations. I would caution a new player to pay very close attention to what the increase in rewards is with the premium time. The premium time is for a very limited time even in a bundle so you will want to play very close attention to the difference so you can decide if you want to go for renewing premium. Realize also if you choose this route, the expenses are higher in the upper tiers and you will not have gained the tactical knowledge that someone that moved up the tiers in a normal manner earned. You may find yourself frustrated at the start. Premium Vehicle: Not a good route for a new player. It will only boost for that vehicle. At least with a bundle you will get some premium time so all the vehicles will increase earnings. This is really only good for a player that has a fair amount of vehicles unlocked and they are trying to flesh out a line up for a particular BR. Talisman: Again is vehicle specific and not the best choice for a new player. Eventually you will unlock something you may like more and then this will be gathering dust. Besides with play you can win some of these anyway. Boost Research: Probably the most expensive option that gives the least back. You spend to unlock a regular vehicle that is stock? The only time I use this personally is when after a match there is just a tiny bit left on an unlock. Otherwise it is the least attractive option. Unmentioned: Increasing crew skills in my opinion is the 2nd best option. It is not as good as premium time since it is slot specific and is specific to either planes or ground vehicles. But it will increase the performance of the crew for any vehicles placed in that slot which can result in a few more hits survived and a few less shots needed kill the opponent. It is one to consider as a supplement to premium time or a bundle. It can be done fairly affordably at the start but can get prohibitively expensive since each notch on a crew skill line gets exponentially expensive. I used this to get the slots up to the middle range when new nations arrived but it can get very expensive very quickly so if you choose to do this, make a plan and stick to it. Just some of my personal Experiences

I learned the hard way. Got my first premium (P-51D-20NA) after playing the Game for 2 weeks. I was not ready for rank 4 aircarft! I missed too much in between rank 1 to 3. Stuff like spading planes and crew skills. Increasing crew skills in my opinion is the 2nd best option. ^Yes^
cashmeowsidehbd 1,269 Report post Posted February 26, 2018 anything but RP boost. I do a little of everything on occasion. Except boosting RP. I'm sitting on 5.5 million RP with nothing to "convert" them to.
