Nahguav 419 Report post Posted March 2, 2018 Just had a game in GF RB, using a 2.3 French line-up. It ended up Germany against everyone else, which doesn't seem uncommon at the moment. I assumed (wrongly) that it must be a 2.3 max game since everyone else on my team had vehicles 2.3 or lower as well. (Zis-30, M5A1, T-28, T-III, T-80, M22 and BT-5) It turned out the Germans had 2 Pumas, 4 Pz.IV F2's, a Marder IIIH and a solitary Pz.IV F1. It didn't go so well for the allies. Now, I suppose there may have been players on my side that had higher BR tanks or planes in their lineups, but if they did, they never got to use them. What I'm curious about is, does the MM try to balance the numbers of uptiered/downtiered players on each side of a battle? In this one it certainly looked like everyone in my team was fully uptiered to 3.3, while only one player on the other team appeared to be. I find it hard to believe that more than one or two people in my team were running a 3.3 lineup and only playing 2.3 vehicles. If there's one thing I did learn from the battle, it's that you can't always judge the BR that you are facing by the tanks you have in your team at the start. *XombieRocker 70 Report post Posted March 13, 2018 I've encountered similar situations. Check what my team is playing at the start of a battle and see all 4.3 vehicles or less. Assume that 4.3 (Which is what I was driving) is highest BR. Imagine my surprise when a pack of long-barreled Jumbo's and M18's come rolling around the corner. Nearly the entire enemy team was playing 5.3 tanks. Needless to say, we were curb-stomped and spawn-camped within 5 minutes. I thought the MM would attempt to ensure that there was an equal spread of players at the top BR in a given match, but now I'm not so sure.
