Configuration file setup for controls with multiple users

Techie question, i have one premium account and a free account for warmup and practise and i have finaly found the perfect setup for my controllers on my practise account and i want to copy the controlls setup to my premium account without corrupting any gamefiles.

 

so...pray tell...how do i go about this? i am computer savvy, but i have looked around and dont find any obvious telltale signs to locate the corrct files to copy/edit to move my controlls setup from one account to the other

 

anyone able to shine a light ?

Look down at the bottom left of the 'Controls' panel/window and you'll see buttons for exporting and importing settings.

From that panel/window you can also see the current file location if you prefer to copy and paste.

Find the (config.blk) file for your practice account right click copy and then paste it into the location of where your premium account (config.blk) file is.  I would suggest copying the old premium config.blk file to another location just in case something goes wrong.  I have mine installed through Steam and it's location is:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War Thunder.  I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but before I did that I save the config.blk file and when the gme was reinstalled I replaced the new file with the old one and all my settings were good to go!  Hope this helps.
