Jermster_91@psn 1,081 Report post Posted May 7, 2018 (edited) Are Squadrons that have Multiple Accounts used by the same person allowed for Squadron Battles? I know of at least 1 squadron that does that so that they can try and get more points and get higher in the standings when they reach the peak of 1500 to 1600 points or so. Just curious if this is allowed or not. Edited May 13, 2018 by *jermster18
Miksuu14 28 Report post Posted May 8, 2018 (edited) Gaijin's terms of service do not allow use of multiple accounts at all. It would be unfair too. Basically abusing the "Elo system" There is some known squadrons doing this tho, and nothing has been done as far as I know. "dd. register and use to access to the Services more than one account. In case if there are reasonable grounds to believe that you have registered or are using more than one account, Gaijin has the right to restrict, suspend, terminate, modify or delete any and all accounts associated with you. Accounts registered in violation of this rule, do not participate in referral programs (if any)." Venatores 309 Report post Posted May 9, 2018 If they enforced this rule half the player base would be gone. Rip warthunder.

And half of top 20 teams could be kicked out because of it... ho wait. Rules are rules, what the point of editing them if none are applied ? A lot of players want a clean tournament, not a rigged one. It's time to swing a harsh banhammer, to enforce what you accepted as player, when you installed War Thunder. Gaijin has to make a choice: a good picture to promote E-sport, or a dirty money swamp. Edited June 13, 2018 by Whiskoof
oRyx 28 Report post Posted June 16, 2018 Its not really just about Squadron Battles. Many other players do have alt accounts and acknowledge them with no fear. Example - theOrangeDoom, he uses his main account, but he recently switched to "theGreenDoom". He has made several videos about it, and Gaijin have done nothing. (Not trying to get him banned) This is just an example proving that Gaijin generally do not care about that rule. It's not just about SQB, but War Thunder in general. I do not see a negative use for an alt, I am against that rule, but there is no point to be against that rule if it isn't enforced.
Quasimodo91 3,325 Report post Posted June 24, 2018 sorry I'm late to comment but i have heard in past [from mod] that its fine to have multiple account to play the game as long you don't abuse some game mechanics. also because in some homes multiple people are playing the game like family member or friends. although squadrons using multiple accounts to boost points should definitely be ban able. problem is actually finding difference between legit and duplicate accounts. multiple account are banned mainly because of forum. imitating multiple players by single person is ban able. 1
