50% Discount for flags on the country's Independence/National Day

Hello Everyone,

 

As mentioned in the title, 50% discount in Golden Eagle price for a national flag on the country's Independence/National day.

 

Please vote if you like the suggestion and want to see this implemented.

This will be a fair discount! Don't forget: the US flag is free for everyone as a "ground forces" decal...

Way back before the War in Donbass broke out Nation Flags use to be free. Players were getting xxxxxxxx seeing nations they didn't like on their team which caused teamkilling, and griefing. For instance Russian players were complaining, Ukraine shouldn't have a flag because this game is WW2 era and it wasn't a nation blah blah blah so Gajioo decided to make them 500 G.E so avoid this problem happening again, this probably won't get pushed up.

Sure America has a flag; but, Gajin has made an attempt to create everyone at least a seal haha.

If this is the only problem then its not an issue anymore in RB. I wont deny that it is a problem that are ways you can make other messages for a nation you dislike using decals and if based on that the devs want to deny this suggestion then i and some others who voted yes will have no problem.

maybe getting a flag for a vehicle if it was used by that nation etc

I think the better solution is to make the first flag anyone purchases free, and then charge 500 GE after that.

Also since the United States gets a free flag under the ground forces tab, perhaps to compensate for this, another US flag could be added too for the US Independence Day.

 

[Also another thing I forgot to check, how many stars are on the ones in game?  Since the flags in game are modern I believe, I think the US flag there should have 50 stars, but the ground forces one might be WW2 era, which means it should have 48 stars?]

Indeed, the earned decal in game is the WWII-era 48 star flag, while the flag available for GE (which is also lower quality, like the rest of the flag decals) is the current 50-star flag. 

 

Also, really hope Gaijin makes flag decals HD at some point.
