DeKrieg 1,290 Report post Posted September 21, 2018 on one hand yeah, air spawns ruined the prior squibs when it was pure tier 4 only. It was repetitive and dominant to an insane level. On the other hand, air has been heavily lacking in squibs since both the airfield and br rotation systems were introduced. They really only show up at some brs and in others they dont exist at all. I've had plenty of complaints from our pilots over this and a few have outright quit either squibs or our clan because we refused to let them take planes at brs where it was much much more effective to stay on the ground. I'd like something in between, perhaps it might be controversial to suggest the AIR RB spawn where fighters are on the airfield but other planes get a variety of different spawns. But I havnt checked in a while which planes get air spawns or not. I know with the germans the Do-335 and Ta-152 do and 109s and d12/d13 dont. I dont know what state that mixed spawn system is in currently in air rb so I cant really push one or the other. But I understand plenty have issue with the air rb spawn. BigPhil4 215 Report post Posted September 22, 2018 With the addition of the air spawn, the air battle no longer depends on good air choices or strategies instead it is the team that has the lower ping and the most rng on their side. I would like to propose that the air spawn be kept for bombers but removed for all other air like it was for the past 3 seasons.
