Veghead 5 Report post Posted September 22, 2018 As if the air spawning wasn't bad enough for fighters. Just played a match vs BofSS where they exploited what must surely be a bug. Landing spits on helipads just outside the AO, then air spawning virtually over the AO with full rocket loads. Come on Gaijin - this kind of thing is wrecking the fun of SQB's and puts us in a position where we either exploit a bug also or face an uneven battle. My Squadrons rules are never to use bug exploits. Level the playing field please.
PlzDontKillDave 127 Report post Posted September 22, 2018 ... Or... you can submit a detailed bug report for this patch release instead of complaining about it. If one exists. Then you have to wait for them to fix said issue.
NoZoul 358 Report post Posted September 22, 2018 (edited) I legitemately think they intentionally made it work like this. I mean, I totally agree with the author of the post, this needs to be changed... But as long as it's there, I hope everybody is gonna utilize it, it's no easy task to land on an airstrip shorter than 150 meters, so it takes a skilled pilot to do it. Steiner_IV 21 Report post Posted September 23, 2018 Improvise. Adapt. Overcome. Since it will not happen that nobody uses it, the only thing that ensures a fair game right now is everybody using it. Totally on BofSs' Side here. Helipads aren't covered by AA, so there is a risk involved too.

Been doing this in ground RB and yeah, without aaa and the fact that heli is closer than airfield it's a pretty risky manever as you have to be freaking slow to land on here. OldDeadMan 1,299 Report post Posted September 23, 2018 And this one topic answers a burning question I've been wanting to find out. Every time I've tried to land at the helipad with my plane, I've been strafed and killed while taxiing over to it or the match has ended. Thank you!
