Air to Air Missiles - How?

Hey, not to beat a dead horse on this  JFG80, but there is certainly some kind of bug with the lock on and which view is used..I had a lockon for my AIM from my Z1 and  switched to gunner view and couldn't fire, had to switch back to pilot view to fire.

It is important to lock on in gunner's view and not in cockpit view to make sure your locked to the correct target. I had a couple of teamkills because the missile was locked to my teammate's plane in the back and not on the enemy heli I wanted to shoot at.

Hey all!

 I have some issues with the AIM9B on the SeaHawk Mk100. When I want to prep the missile, (AltX) i get the message "Missile Seeker off". When playing with my mouse and keyboard, the circle appears and I can shoot when the targetcircle gets red. Now with my JoySticks and VR I get only the message "Missile seeker off" and nothing happens. 

 

Both Keys are bound to Weapon Lock & Fire air to air.

 

Any ideas pls?

For AAM use:

you should set controlmenu missileseeker to letter"f"key  and select switch Missile seeker on. also your radar (as in ka-52 or ah-1 apache) should probably be set in airmode, not ground. then wait for the aimcircle to beep and blinking when above target and within reach. But I personally still cannot get the missile to launch although the head is tracking its target.

 

For Atgm versus air use:

Sorry, i cannot get it to lasertrack although the target is in midair . I think these problems arose since the ixwa update . No idea.

 

I was repeatedly hunted and even shot down in a ka-52 by uh-1d (gatling) which is slightly faster than an unmodified Kamov. I then started to use the vikhr without the now missing autotracking, but it is up to coincidence and probablility as soon as the target starts to evade. Another thing the coaxial but unstable ka-52 is bad at - also compared to ka-29 and ka-50 otherwise to singlerotor helis . Since they shoot me with aams (antiairmissiles) and i cannot shoot back , I cannot really enjoy the new "reserve"(beginner) - toprank balance .
