Buchihe 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2018 I started playing War Thunder in 2013 before it was on steam so I've always logged in using the Gaijin account. Recently I downloaded the game again on Steam and purchased the DLC through steam but I'm not seeing it on my gaijin account. Is there a way for me to link my already existing Gaijin account to my Steam account DLC purchase? If I log in through steam then I lose all my progression through my Gaijin acc. The game does not let me link my steam account to my already existing Gaijin account. Did I just wasted my 13$ on this DLC just to not have it on my old account? Buchihe 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2018 I will contact support. The account does not automatically link. In fact it explicitly states online that steam will NOT link with another existing email Gaijin account which is why i made the post... It won’t let you use existing email if you’ll try to link it manually from your profile. That option is for people who started playing via Steam without registering email at all. In your case, Steam login button on starting screen will do that automatically. And you have to use it anyway to get the DLC purchases.
