The game removed the Steam Login button.

I'm utterly unable to log in to the game after the christmas (24. - 25.) patch, because the game has no Steam Login button anymore. Gaijin Login button pushes me to log in to Steam, but it just redirects me to the Steam Community site and does not actually qualify as a login. I cannot log in normally due to a problem over a year old, regarding not being able to log in, because Google Authenticator lost my codes, and logging into that no longer shows my codes for the Gaijin account anywhere.

Are you launching the game from Steam library?

usually all you need to do in such case is to restart Steam (and i mean shut it down completely then fire it up again).

after that procedure (and often enough an update of the Steam client on the restart) the Steam login button should

be present on the login page again.

I know I'm a bit old to this thread but I experienced the same issues

So long story short, somehow Steam always fcked up my War Thunder storage and I had to redownload it countless times. I had enough of it and try to download the non-steam version. (It download faster btw 3 hours, rather than using steam took me 2-3 days with my connection)

Then I went to the login section, it only has login with email and through web, I tried to login through web and use my steam account, didn't work. It's like they don't recognize or know anything that I log in on browser.

The thing is, I haven't link my email with my steam account, and when I check it only look like this

I tried to append new email by clicking binding mobile device but it just automatically redirect me to verification question, of which all I have set.
So there's really nothing I can do to login with steam apart for me re-downloading it again through steam.

Please help I don't want to lose hundreds hour of grinding and downloading through the slow way of using steam

weird... i mean you can obviously log into Gaijin websites (store, forum etc) so the web login in the game should

work as well (imho). you could open a ticket on the support web site and ask them if there is something wrong -

just out of curiosity - when you use the web login in-game, does the internal browser get opened or does your

normal browser (Chrome, Firefox etc) get opened on the desktop ?!
