Busterkat 1 Report post Posted February 26, 2019 A common problem seems to be joystick axes not being recognized properly in WT. Example: The solution I found is a great little app called controller mate. https://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/ It costs $25 for the full version BUT the unregistered version has just enough functionality to fix your stick and the Hat switch, which also doesn't work properly in WT. (I paid as I get a ton of use out of this program in a variety of games with a bunch of different controllers). Then, follow this tutorial here: https://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/example/#example_015 Here's a screenshot of how I set it up. As you can see, the Rhino is sending crazy values (32825 instead of 129), so using Controllermate to fix the axis calibration will give it normal values that war thunder understands: Make sure you choose the virtual controller you created in the tutorial (mine is called "Main Rhino Stick") and enjoy the game! HAT SWITCH: For some reason the big silver POV hat on the x56 stick didn't do anything in game. Controllermate sees it, so I mapped each of the the 8 directions to a keystroke (in this case number keys, but you can use whatever you like.) In game it will see use of the hat stick as if you were just typing on the keyboard. I did a variation of this tutorial: https://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/example/#example_003
Dr_Garlics@psn 4 Report post Posted January 10, 2023 I can confirm this is the solution. The x56 is sending crazy values. However the Controller mate is not supported to the latest MAC version. Do you know any other alternatives?
